•Call The Fallen, Track #7•
{Inspired by the song Pearl of the Stars, from the band Coheed and Cambria.}
•••
{The concept is of an abstract being called the Sandman, who seeks to bring back color to a somber world.}
•••
'Tis dusk the stars now sit in charcoal dust
The candied motes flying cold now in the air
Whispered, to these mellow hands
They call this orchestra a dirge
You shall see the lavender and the teal
In the sky, and when the auroras
Spirit away, they leave the feet
Of the gray
Like a wind-up butterfly
The pigments flit and rapture
And the dreams? They create
This aesthetic, yummy fate
Of magenta sand
She swallows first, the grains of cookie crumbs
The aurum leaps, the child...she's never done
Watch as, her dress cloaks the clouds
And a gemstone is found
Now crown
An elegy, twilight breath
In the lullaby, creep-creep crepts
Soon a marble maze
Comes to fall
And the gold? Grasped by all
Look closer, Sandman
To the deaths that flicker and gleam
Through this dreamed, gentle stream
The maroon becomes darker
Of magenta sand

FantasyA collection of poems, comprised of my own personal album. Each has a concept behind it, and is inspired, or even plays to the tune of songs that Iove by other bands. Enjoy.
