Haven't seen her this morning. I've been to the library, her favourite relaxation spot. Did I just giggle? I can't help it. She's one hell of a girl. Oops! Did I just say so? I meant she's one of a kind. Why I'm I looking forward to seeing her today? She saved your life, dumb ass. In fact, you should be worshipping her.
The bell, yeah. History!!
The bell saved me from whatever it is I've been thinking about. She was in the sciences and I was all about the arts. We only had a general course together, History and I'm crazily looking forward to seeing her. I wonder how on earth someone could be so beautiful, sexy,intelligent, sweet, nice, brave and possess some strength to drag out a sixty pounds muscled eighteen year old.
Good grief!!
For whatever reason she's not in school because she does not miss any of her classes. This crazy substitute teacher can't even keep it low. Ranting on and on again. How on earth could I know what is wrong with her. I looked out for 'Lotte, her right hand. She wasn't in school either. I'd have to find out.
Holy Shit!!
I don't even know her house address and I think I don't know Charlotte's either. Someone have to find out why she is not in school. History ran really slow and so did the next. After, it was Ethics before the break. I was surprised when I roamed the classroom and found Charlotte. Did she teleport? Thank God someone can now decipher where my girl is?
Did I say my girl? Am I possessive now? Whatever!
I could not wait for Ethics to get down and I was impatient for the bell too. Immediately it rang, I was next to Lotte.
"Where's she?", I asked impatiently.
" Where's who?"
" Stop acting like you don't know who. Where is my saviour? ", I asked again and she could hear her giggles until she turned serious again.
" I can't say although I drove her to school this morning. We split up since the gym instructor wanted to see me", she replied. I wasn't convinced.
"You weren't in History and Geography", I told her. Her lips were pursed up.
"I had an exclusive workout with him including some other girls. We have this game against some school female basketball team next week", she said.
" Alright, thanks. I'll get her myself ", I said before running off to the cafeteria. I was damn hungry.
My first sight in the cafeteria took away my mind and appetite. There she was. The girl I've been looking forward to seeing ever since Saturday night on a table with another guy and they seem so happy with themselves. She is even smiling.
Good God!!! Ryan, get a grip of yourself.
She's not even your girlfriend and here you are lamenting. Crazy!!!
Deirdre's P. O. V
Charlotte parked the car in her favourite parking spot. I don't even know why she chose that place. Her car was one of the sleekest here at Sunview high so classically, she was the biggest girl around even though that was a title Alexis eyed.
We got out of the car and she ran off after telling me that she had a meeting with the gym instructor. I found my way to my the locker room to pick my notes silently praying I'd not find my worst nightmare there.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I found out he wasn't there. I opened the locker hurriedly to pick my notes. A pink note flew out and I bent to pick it.
If you want to know how the Friday night events happened, meet me at the café down the school. I'd not explain afterwards.

He left me a note. Why is this jerk face doing all these? I thought about it and discovered this could be a golden opportunity to get things straight again.
I dropped my notes and picked up my phone and went out of the school.
I saw him immediately I entered the café. He was looking clean and devastatingly handsome. His green pierced mine as soon as I took my seat in front of him.
"Coffee?", he asked temporarily saving me from breathlessness.
" No, thanks", I replied silently wishing I could have.
"Alright, Lakshmi", he replied. I rolled my eyes.
" I'm Deirdre. Can we get straight to business? What happened on Friday night and why?", I asked impatiently.
"You see, that's one of your numerous powers. You can't just stay in a place where something bad is going to take place. You will have to do something about it. And the better would it be if you are conscious about it", he said.
" Conscious? But how?", I asked frustratedly.
"That's where I come in. You need to allow me into your life. I'm one indispensable part of you. I am....", I cut him short.
" You will not just decide for me,will you ", I asked. He shook his head in negation.
" No, I won't. The book will", he said as he proceeded to check his backpack. He brought out a book that looked exactly like the one in my room. Did he have an extra copy?
"It's the same book, L", he said and I gasped.
How on earth did he know I was thinking if it was the same book and how did he have it with him?
" well we both can read each other's thoughts", he said again carefully.
I was losing it yet it was getting more damned interesting.
"But I can't read yours", I commented.
" that's because you are not yet committed to me ", he replied. I pulled up a serious face.
" Committed to you? ", I asked and he held my hands from across the table.
" Take a journey with me and everything is going to be alright ", he said assuring me.
