June 7th, 2014.
Maddie's POV;
I woke up at 11 am. It felt good to finally sleep in. School was let out yesterday, and today is the official first day of summer. I went down stairs to make myself some breakfast. I got the pan, pancake mix, and all the things I needed to make my breakfast.
Once I was done eating I sat down to watch some television. I turned the channel to Cartoon Network and was satisfied to see that Adventure Time was on.
I was watching Adventure Time for about 15 minutes when my phone started to ring.
"Hello?" I answered to Hailey.
"Hey Maddie! What are you doing today?" She asked happily through the phone.
"Nothing much, just here watching Adventure Time." I explained.
"Would you like to come to the mall with me?" She asked noticing I wasn't busy.
"Sure." I said.
"Great! I'll pick you up at 1." She said hanging up.
I checked the time on my phone noticing it was already 12. Time goes by so quickly. I got up from the comfy couch and turned Adventure Time. I climbed up the stairs to get ready.
I took a shower, shaving and washing my hair and body. Once I was done I wrapped myself in a warm fuzzy towel and walked out of the bathroom heading over to my closet.
I found the perfect outfit in no time. I put on a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a loose white v neck t-shirt and my black and white vans. http://www.polyvore.com/mall/set?id=128290178
I walked back into the bathroom and combed my hair out. I let it go natural and I didn't put makeup on. I rarely put makeup on. I don't like the feeling of it sometimes. I brushed my teeth and went down stairs to wait for Hailey considering she should be here at any minute.
A few minutes later I heard the door bell ring. I walked my way over and Hailey was there waiting of course.
"You ready?" She asked. I nodded and locked my door. My sister must be sleeping still or something. She always does that.
I get into Hailey's car and we head to the mall. Our mall here isn't the biggest or that crowded so it's just about perfect for me. It has a lot of good stores in it too.
I decided to put the radio on and Maps by Maroon 5 was on. I smiled because we both loved this song. I turned up the volume and started screaming the lyrics. Hailey started laughing.
Soon we arrived at the mall and we decided to start off at Topshop. I bought a shirt and Hailey bought shorts.
We spent a few hours at the mall laughing and having fun. We decided to go to Pacsun before we decided to eat. They were having a sale and I went crazy in there. I let Hailey help me because she had already bought what she wanted. I was carrying a pile of clothes to the dressing room. It took me a while. I spotted two really cute boys there and smiled at one of them. He smiled back. He looked like WeeklyChris. I shrugged it off and decided to go pay for my clothes. While I was carrying them I bumped into someone, causing me to drop the clothes.
"I am so sorry! I couldn't see over my clothes." I said.
"No problem! I shouldv'e been looking at where I was going. You've got a lot of clothes.. that should be hard to miss." The boy said in a Canadian accent.
"Haha, very funny." I said and he laughed.
"I'm Chris, Chris Collins." He said.
I looked up and I couldn't believe it. He was even more perfect in person.
"I know who you are." I said blushing.
"Oh really? What is your name?" He asked.
"Maddie, Maddie Banks." I said lending my hand for him to shake it. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into a hug.
"Nice to meet you." He said smiling. I smiled back.
"Here let me help you with that. " He said.
We picked up the clothes and went to the counter to pay.
"Your total is $40.56" The lady said putting my clothes in bags.
I pulled out my wallet and Chris stopped me holding out a $50 dollar bill.
"No Chris, I can pay." I said.
"Hey, I'm the one who bumped into you." He said with a wink.
I sighed and let him pay.
We walked away trying to find Crawford and Hailey. We found them talking and Hailey was blushing uncontrollably.
'Hey guys." Chris said.
"Hey Chris, this is Hailey, Maddie's friend." Crawford explained.
"Would you guys care to join us at lunch?" I asked.
"We'd love to." Chris said with a smile. Gosh, his smile makes me melt.
All four of us decided on Chick Fil A. We sat at a table in the Cafe and talked and shared stories until it was time for me and Hailey to leave.
"It's time we go thanks for having us." I said.
"No problem. We should hangout sometime." Crawford said. I smiled and nodded.
"Can we have your numbers?" They asked.
We all exchanged numbers and than we seperated. Once me and Hailey got to the car we both squealed.
We drove to my place with smiles.
"Thanks Hailey I had fun. We should do this again sometime." I said to my best friend before leaving. She nodded.
I walked into my house and went upstairs to change into some comfy clothes.
Little did I know this was a new start for something major.
