Nobody Knows

In the small town of Boca, there lived a girl named Ariana. Ariana Grande. She's normal. Her friends are normal. What's not normal, is her hot boyfriend. Jai Brooks. Some might say, "what are you talking about? He's as normal as the next person!" But what they don't know is that this young boy is everything... but ordinary.

[Ariana's POV]

My alarm clock goes off. I shut it off immediately and groan. Another day in paradise! College. Sigh. The bright side about this is that I get to see Jai and Alexa. Jai Brooks is my boyfriend. He's Australian and let me tell you, he's a hunk. With his smooth brown hair that I run over with my fingers, his hazel eyes that will make you die, his abs, his smile, and his tattoos. That boy has a lot of tattoos. It's very hot and i have some tattoos myself, so it doesn't bother me. My best friend Alexa is so pretty. With her long hair and sense of humor, and her caring heart I can see why we've been friends for so long. "Ariana, hurry up!" I can hear Alexa calling from my dorm room door. "I'm coming, calm yourself! Gosh." Sometimes she can be a bitch but I love her for it.

I haven't quite told you about myself. I'm a tiny girl, with nice long brown/blonde hair. I have big brown eyes, and nobody knows this but I can sing. I don't mean to brag. I'm a very sensitive, caring, loving person. But I have a sassy and badass side to me. That's me, and honestly? I think I live a pretty normal life.

I didn't really listen to Alexa when she told me to hurry but that's because I had to pick out an outfit. I hear banging on my door. "Alexa, how many times do I have to tell you, I'm coming!" I said that pretty loudly. "It's not Alexa." I hear a husky, deep, Australian voice out my door. It's Jai. I open the door and hug him tightly. Each second I'm in his arms, I feel safe. He pins me against a wall. "Skip class and come cuddle with me." He sexually whispered that in my ear. Oh God. He makes me weak. I slide my hand up his shirt until I realize he has a large cut on his stomach. "Jai, what happened?!" I say in a worried voice. "Ariana I know you would love to get some with your hot boyfriend but we have classes. Just saying." Alexa's voice booms into the room again as Jai pushes me away and says "You better get going. I'll talk to you later." He pecks me on the lips. "But Jai what happened? To your stomach? Who hurt you?" I grab his shirt. No answer. It was a big cut. It didn't look human. Things seemed shady there but I'm pretty sure, everything is just fine.

[Jai's POV]

That wasn't okay. I have to be more carful next time. "Ouch." I put alcohol on my cut. That was a close call. No one, not even Ariana can know my secret. What happens if people find out? What happens. What will happen between Ariana and I? I always have to leave her house before midnight. That way she doesn't get hurt. By me.

Just as I prepare for my next class, my phone rings. "Babe?" It's Ariana. Shit. "Hey, baby." I have to keep my secret. I have to. "Do you mind telling me about the cut on your stomach? It's probably not a big deal but where did it come from?" Her voice seemed worried and curious at the same time. "It's nothing. I promise." I lied to the love of my life. "I believe you. After our classes do you want to go out?" How could I say no to her cute voice? "Sure. After my next class I'll meet you at the mall." Why did I say the mall? "Yay! See you soon. I love you." She makes it so hard. "I love you, too." After that I hanged up. I don't know how long I can keep this a secret. How am I supposed to tell my girlfriend I'm a vampire?

They don't know how dangerous I am.

But nobody knows anything.

And I'm planning to keep it that way

For a very long time.
