Twenty Two:

Chpt Twenty Two-

{Mackenzie's POV}

"Mackenzie wake up." I heard a voice in the distance as my eyes were still glued shut. I heard the voice again but I just ignored it. I buried my face into my pillow. Then I felt my covers being pulled away. I heard the voice agin and this time I shot up. I looked over to see my brother Drew.

"Get up, your stupid alarm has been going off." He said as he walked out and didn't shut my door. That is like my biggest pet-peve about someone. I sat up and grabbed my phone to turn off my alarm.

I then remembered why I even set my alarm. I have to go to a meeting with Rose today. I am really excited to see what I have coming up. I walked over to my bathroom, grabbed a towel and jumped in the shower.

As soon as I was done I wrapped a towel around my body then walked back to my room. I had to think awhile before deciding on what to wear. I finally decided on, black shorts with a lace see through blue shirt, with a black banduea under it. I put on my all black converse. I blow dried my hair til it was fully dry. I straighten my hair then put on a all black beanie. I applied my regular makeup then grabbed my phone and was out.

"Mom I'm leaving." I said as I walked into the living room to see her on the couch. She looked up and smiled. "Where are you going all dressed up." She said standing up and kissing my forehead.

"A meeting with Rose, she has big news for me!" I said as a big smile spread across my face. She walked to the pantry and got our a granola bar.

"Well good luck, and eat this." She said handing me the granola bar. I waved goodbye as I walked out the door. I walked to my car then realized i forgot my keys. I walked back into the house.

"Forget something?" I mother asked as she tossed my my keys to my beautiful Esclade. I got in and started the engine. I turned on the radio and 'Problem' by Ariana Grande. I pulled out of our driveway and was soon on the main road.

I stopped at a red light and opened my granola bar. I took a bite and then my phone started ringing. I picked it up and answered the phone without looking to see who it was.

'Me- Hello?'

'Carter- Hey Mackenzie.

'Me- How are you?'

'Carter- Fine are you busy?'

'Me- I'm driving but I'm fine. I'm going to a meeting.'

'Carter- Well I have a question.'

'Me- Ok shoot.'

'Carter- Ok so I really like Ford but I don't know how to deal with this whole long distrance thing, what do I do?

'Me- To be honest Ford has never really had a 'boyfriend'. She is really protective over herself and who she lets in. The best advice I can give you is to just not give up, if you do she won't let you in again.

'Carter- Thanks Mack.'

'Me- No problem, I have to go.'

'Carter- Good luck, tell me how it goes.'

I hung up and took the keys out of the car. I grabbed my phone as I stuck it in my back pocket. I walked into the building and went strate into Rose's office. I walked in to see Rose but there were two guys sitting with their backs turned to me. Rose looked up and realized I was in the room.

"Mackenzie!" She said walking over to me and shaking my hand. She pulled me over to her desk. I came face to face with one person I thought I would never see again.

"Mackenzie you know Bart and Shawn, yes?" She asked smiling to look at then. I nodded my head at her.

"Good, I have news Mackenzie." She said sitting my down across from Shawn and Bart. Shawn's eyes wouldn't leave mine. He was weairng a light blue button up with black pants.

"What's the news?" I asked as I broke my daize and looked up to Rose.

"Your going on a tour!" She said while smiling. I jumped up and hugged her. I couldn't believe this. I was going on tour.

"What! Omg!" I siad as I began to try and calm down.

"Yes in 2 months! We already started adversiting." She told me while putting her hand on my shoulder. "And we have someone to go on tour with you.." She looked over to Bart he was smiling as he looked over to Shawn.

Shawn, with me. For 3 months, together. Traveling all around the world. I was excited and scared at the same time. I know I was with Matt but that doesn't mean Iost all my feelings for Shawn. They are still there, I don't know if they will ever go away.

"It will be a world wide tour, and Shawn will be your opening act. Doesn't that sound amazing, plus you guys already know eachother so it won't be weird." Rose said as Bart added on the last part. I smiled weakly and so did Shawn.

"Yah.." Shawn and I said that at the same time. As we did, he turned to face me and we both started laughing. We spent the rest of the afternoon , working out the plans and making sure eveything was good.

"I can't wait for the tour." Shawn said to me as we stopped walking. We were by my car and I was leaning agaisnt it.

"Yah me either, I'm so ready." I smiled as I thought about performing in front of thousands of people. Plus the thought of Shawn being with me just felt right.

"Well I should probably go.." Shawn said awkard my stading there. He had his hands in his pockets.

"Or, you could come over to my place. Hang out?" I asked as he looked up at me and smiled.

"Yah, that'd be great." He said smiling at me. He walked over around the car to get in the pass her seat. I climbed in and saw he looking all around my car. "Woah." I said as he was looking my my radio.

"Yah, I know it was a 'your famous now' gift from Rose." I said as I started the car and began to drive.

"I've had cars but this is nice." He said still amazed by my car. I shook my head and giggled. I turned on the radio and 'Give Me Love' by Ed Sherran came on. We sang to the whole song. We sang especially loud on this part:

'All I want is the taste that your lips allow!'

'My-y-y'

Once we arrived back at my house and led Shawn to the door. It was locked so I had to unlock it. I walked in and it was very quiet.

"I'm home!" I yelled out but no one answered. "This is weird." I said to Shawn as I walked into the kitchen. I looked at the counter and saw a note:

Mackenzie,

Your sister went out with friends, Drew left and won't be back til tomorrow. I had to run errands I'll be back in time for dinner. Love you.

Mom.

I sighed as I through the note away. I looked over at Shawn as he was looking around the living room.

"Nice house." He said as he flopped down on the couch. I nodded as I sat next to him.

"Wonna go swimming?" I asked him as I smiled widely. He nodded but then frowned.

"I don't have anything to wear." I frowned as I thought about that. I then had an idea.

"My brothers had like a million, you could wear one of his." I said getting up and pulled out my hand for him to take. He did and he when I pulled him up he got really close.

"You sure he'll be ok with that?" He said in a whisper voice. I swallowed the lump that was in my throat.

"Yah." Was I managed to say as I backed away and he follwed me upstairs. I went to my brothers room and pulled out a pair of swimming trunks and tossed then to Shawn.

"Go change in the bathroom, I'll meet you down there." I siad turning to my room to change.
