My mom and David's wedding planning has come to a halt and she's really upset about it she was so excited, I hadn't seen my mom that happy in forever and something just doesn't feel right.

"Mom are things between you and David okay" I asked

"Yeah honey of course we just want to let you and Jack get to know each other better before we get married" she fake smiled

She was lying I could tell,Why I don't know but I will soon.

Me and my mom have had a mother daughter day today,I made us breakfast this morning to I took her out to a spa now I am about to take her out to lunch

"Imogen I told you, you are not paying for lunch you paid for the spa and cooked us breakfast"my mom said as we sat down at our table

"It's my treat stop arguing about it" I laughed

"How did I raise such a lovely caring daughter" she smiled

"Because you raise me well"

"So what is going on with that sam boy"
My mom asked as she finished off her food

"Nothing mom just friends"

"Honey I'm not stupid" she said looking at me with her brow raised

"Fine there was something but it's over now" I mumbled

"Oh honey are you okay" she asks immediately after

"Yes mom I'm fine I was the one who end things" I explain

"Why did you do that I thought you liked him, was he treating you badly,do I need to have a word with him"

"No no no mom nothing like that I just thought it was best to stop seeing him because it made Jack uncomfortable me dating one of his friends"I explain sipping my coffee

"I think that's nice you did that so Jack didn't feel uncomfortable darling but id you really like that boy then just tell Jack to get used to it"

"It's okay it's not as if I had strong feelings if I did I would've told Jack but I don't so it's okay" I smile

"I can't wait for the day you finally come home and tell me you have a boyfriend" my mom said smiling as she gushed

"I have had one before but those were silly hight school boyfriends" I laugh

"I know I just want to see you all happily loved up again"

"Mom I'm fine with being single I'm young" I giggled

"I know baby I just can't wait for my baby to bring me home a future son in law"she smiled over at me.

I couldn't stop thinking about what my mom said,would I ever be like that with Jack and if not then what is the point in what we are doing.We are potentially ruing our parents happiness if they find out, I need to talk to him about this tonight.

Me and my mom have just got back from lunch and I'm now walking upstairs, I reach Jack's room and know on the door

"Who is it" he grumbled

"Come in" he said, I open his door walking in closing it behind me
