Chapter 14- Confessions

Shelbys POV
We all laugh at Jaxs logic and get in the car Jess already got 2 car seats for Jax and Amy. I feel bad for her... she lost her baby I have know idea what happened but we don't bring it up. But I heard that Jess and Adam are trying for a baby and I'm happy for them. The car seats take up 2 seats and there are olny 3 seats left and there's four people left so I have to share 1 small seat with someone and that someone is apparently Max. I sigh and sit on his lap and he buckles us in Amy is sitting next to me so I can see her and Jax is sitting next to her looking out the window I try to stay as far away from Max as I can but it's hard when your buckeld together.
At this time Jax and Amy were asleep.
"So.. what did Jax mean when he said we are moving here in a big house with 3 bedrooms!" Jess says "Oh" I scratch the back of my neck  "Um well you see... I was going to save this for later but I guess the secret is out! we found an available home next to yours and we decided to move there..." I say nervously "that's amazing!! I'm so happy for you and the twins" she says and smiles at me and Max witch makes me more uncomfortable so I look away.

We all walk in and the twins are still sleeping so I put Amy on my back and carry Jax and go up to the guest room and lay them down I kiss their foreheads and whisper goodnight then I hear the door creak open "Shel-" Max practically yells "shhhh!" I say 1 finger over my mouth then I walk out and give him a confused look. "I just wanted to know if were...Cool?" He says and I stay silent like I never heard him and head downstairs "Jess can you do me a favor and watch the kids for me I'll be next door unpacking if you need me ok?" I ask "Yeah Sure no problem..." she says heading upstairs "your going to move all that stuff by yourself?" Ross asks "yeah. I mean the kids can't help their too little...well see you later k Ross?" I say totally ignoring Max sitting right next to him "Yeah ok..." Ross says.

I start to walk out and get my keys out.

I unlock it.

And open it...

It's all nicely decorated but it's not me...

What's missing?

"Shelby!" Max Yells
I scream
"Jesus Max!" I yell
"Ok good so your not giving me the silent treatment." I turn my head and start walking towards one of the twins boxes I unloaded and open it to see all the toys I look trough and find their first toy. Then start crying. I'm supposed to be happy right? Max noticed and ran up to me. "Shelby are you ok?" He says and sits next to me "you wernt there..." I mumble and stand up in the prosess I almost toppled over. Then I look at him. Tears running down my eyes. But...they aren't happy ones.

Trails of tears keep coming and they won't stop I look at him one last time until I repeat myself. "You WERNT there! You broke a promise and look where that got you!! I get it! I was right when I left wasn't i?!? About you having a girlfriend behind my back?! Because you seemed to move on quite quick! Even though I've WAITED for you! I waited... For my knight in shining armor to appear, but you never came... instead of my door you went to someone else's door. And its not just me who had to deal with this, Amy and Jax also suffered! Each day the would say 'Why were we born with out a dad all of our friends have dads?!' I I had to explain to them EVERY SINGLE DAY...Why You wernt there...but i kept thinking about you... and how handsome you are and how you pasted it onto Jax. God Max i- im still in love with you!!!" I say choking on tears he stands up and trys to hug me but I pull away "I'm done with this  bullshit!" I say angrily and leave I run next door and up to the guest bedroom and see Amy talking to Jess whale Jax is asleep they both looked concerned Amy ran up to me "Mommy what's wrong?" She asks and I hug her "Nothing sweet heart... but I want you to know that I love you and Jax so much and nothing will ever change that ya hear..." I said and she giggles she pulls away from the hug and places her hand on my cheek "we love you too mommy more than anything in the world...Even if that means we don't have a papa but you know what... I head moms are always better..." she says and I smile "I love you" I say
