As we walk away from Melanie's house I couldn't stop thinking about her. The smile on her face when we came back her beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes look led amazing with her tan. But I don't think she likes me. She seem to have her eye on Alex and Alex had his eye on her. Before we walked away I handed her my phone number.
When we got back to my house I told my mom we were going back up to my room. I waked back up to my room and grabbed my phone off my bed I had 6 text messages. 3 from drew 2 from this girl named Samantha and 1 from Melanie.
M: hey it's mel
A: heyyyyy thanks for today it was fun!
M: anytime well gtg dinner with family
A: okay. Hey do you think we could do lunch and a movie sometime??
M: yeah sounds fun. Let me me know when
A: ill pick you up around 3tomrrow
M: okay sounds good!

Do I really have a date with Melanie. I stared jumping up and down. Then Alex came in my room and asked what was going on.
"Hey what happan?"
"Oh nothing. Wanna go shot some hops?"
"Can't mom wants me home for dinner,walk me home?"
"Sure"
So we headed out and he said bye to my mom. On the way to his house he asked how I felt about Melanie. I told him. I said I think she's cool. Then that's when he told me he thought she was hot! I couldn't tell him now... what do I do....
I got back to my house. And just sat in my room and stared at the wall. Alex told me he liked Melanie and I like Melanie. And idk who Melanie liked. He kept blushing when I talked to her but did the same with Alex. I texted Melanie and she replied right away. She asked if she can come over of course I said yes!
We decided to watch the note book she talked me into it. It was the towards the end and I looked over at her and I saw tears rolling her check she looked over at me and we both laughed then we stared to lean into to kiss her and she did too. Then right before we kissed my mom walked it......
