It was a monday like no other Zero had gotten home from another blind date, his adopted sister Yuki had given him another invitation, even though she knew he didn't swing that way.The girl was pretty,he had to give her that.Though she was too sweet, someone who would cramp his style a bit too much for him, like cotton candy.Sweet and fluffy. His exact opposite.

He ran a hand through his hair agitated. He picked up his phone in a calm motion and sighed checking the time.Well ain't that special he thought to himself. He was late for his afternoon class.Though he didn't really care all that much for The algebra lesson he was learning,he mostly slept through them anyway,he could go without it today, right?

The new semester was starting soon, and though he didn't have that many friends outside Yuki,Yori, another girl, and his roommate he still decided he would try to have fun throughout the rest of his college life. His phone rang startling him a bit.

"Yo,This is Zero." He said casually into the phone. "Really Zero! You missed the lecture again! Why did you even bother with college if all your going to do is skip every class."

It was Yuki, she always nags at him whenever he misses a lecture or sleeps through one.Zero sighed,he had expected Yuki to be lenient especially after he gave her recommendation a chance, again.

"Look,I just got back from a date, you know that Chiharu girl,it was Chiharu right?", "Yes,it was and what does that have to do with anything. Why did you schedule it this close to your class if you knew you wouldn't make it in time!"

"I couldnt help it this time Yuki,She was really getting into a conversation about her dead hamster, and when I finally got her to shut up I hit bad traffic!", "Look Yuki,i'm done with your dumb date idea's,and I already missed the class so get over it!" He hung up the phone and threw it across the room and onto his roomates bed.The door suddenly opened and closed with a thud,Zero looked over to the door and sighed. It was his roomate.

"Hey Zero!" his name was Yukio,Yukio Tsukiyomi. He had bleached his hair with Zero's help so now it was a bright blonde a and had a red stripe in the front. He was usually cheerful and shared the same taste in men as Zero, though even when they first met neither wanted to share that certain connection amongst themselves. So mostly they stayed in their dorm talking about games and the monthly magazine from the wondrous Kaname Kuran and looked at pictures from him modeling.

"Hey Yukio, how'd your shopping go?" Zero sat up to look him in the eyes as Yukio put some bags down on the counter.

"Uneventful...Mostly" He said pulling out a number from his pocket,he held it up giggling.

"Really, wow.I don't understand how you do it with that hairstyle of yours." Zero laughed getting up and walking over to Yukio messing up his hair.

"Hey!Don't diss my hair, and it was by pure chance!" he replied offended. He started to put away what he had bought,a few simple food items the two would use as basi meal for the rest of the semester since neither of them had a meal plan set in place at the time. The two finished the unpacking and sat on their beds Yukio picked up Zero's phone and sighed.

"Another blind date?" He guessed. "How'd you know?" Zero was surprised at how good the guess was. "Your phones on my bed, across the room."

"What does that mean?" Zero stared at the boy as if he was spouting out nonsense

"Duh,you must have thrown it after talking to Yuki, she was probably nagging you about skipping again. Also your dressed nicer than usual." Zero sighed,he must know him better than he initially thought.Yukio tossed him his phone and Zero swiped it open and showed him a picture of a pretty short smiling girl and a reluctant Zero.

"Wow,really...Thats,well.Shouldn't she stop now,she knows you like guys.Right?" Yukio said with a frown. "Yeah she just, well you know Yuki." Zero said slowly.Yuki had never really understood what it meant to not like girls, even though Their entire main circle knew he just couldn't...Well,do it,for girls. His twin brother Ichiru knew it and accepted it as he too liked males more than females.

The two sat up late into the night and played some games together talking about the new edition of the magazine Kaname modeled for. Yukio talked about his new guy friend and Zero teased him about how obsessed he was over a guy he just met.

Kaname:

"Look Takuma i'm perfectly fine being alone." Kaname replied to his closest friend and manager as he walked out of a photo shoot site. "No Kaname, you can't possibly be alone forever, you do know how long we live...right?"

"Of course I do,I mean.I want someone, and I have the ability to get someone...but all I've been getting is sluts and cheap hook ups." He said taking a coffee from the breakroom. "Look, maybe you can take a few days off and find something like I did?"

Impossible, you and Shiki were made for each other.Don't joke,I'll never find something like that."He unlocked the door to his dressing room and walked in turning on the lights. "Maybe so,but I didn't look for Shiki,I stumbled across him,you know like those relationship books your always reading, love isn't something that's planned but something that just happens." He said with a smile.Kaname shook it off and took his jacket off of a hanger on his clothing rack.

"Whatever,I assume you have somewhere to be?" Kaname said with a sly grin. "I see what your doing,but...yeah." He saluted Kaname and walked off. Kaname grabbed his keys and drove back home.
