"Who are you?" Frozen Flame asks in a serious tone of voice. She gulps as the other two glare at her as if asking the same question but with their eyes. She remains silent and slowly looks down at the ground. "We don't have all day. Tell us why you fell out of the sky, why you can stop time, and who you are."
She obeys his command, "My name is Rosalyn... I'm daughter of the goddess of divine power Dia. I come from a different dimension with no home." Golden Girl's face expression softens. "I apologize for interrupting you."
"You're very hurt," Golden Girl places her thumb on the wound on Rose's arm. She flinches and steps back, the speed of her reflexes catching X's attention.
"I suggest we bring her back with us," He folds his arms and leans his head back, "You saw what she could do, didn't you? She could be useful. Plus, imagine what kind of punishment Dia would put us through if we leave her daughter on the streets." Golden Girl gulps.
Rose looks up, her eyes sparkling with happiness, "Y-you would do that for me!?"
"Of course. It's our job, right, Damian?" Golden Girl looks at Frozen Flame out of the corner of her eye. He scoffs and turns, walking to his car. "So is that a yes?"
"Well we can't leave her out here all alone, can we?" He turns and glares at Rose, sending shivers down her spine. The hairs on the back of her neck stand as he speaks coldly, "But you will answer truthfully to my every question, understood?"
"Yes, sir..."
"Lisa Ambar, daughter of Seraphina," Golden Girl holds out her hand to shake Rose's. Rose smiles and shakes her hand.
X winks at her, "Liam Cordon, son of Malik." Rose nods her head. "And that's Damian Benson, son of Derek." Rose's eyes shift to the back of Damian's head
She frowns, Son of the god of the underworld, huh? He looks and acts exactly like his father. Rude; devilishly handsome.
"We were gonna go eat but we should get you cleaned off before we leave. Don't worry, you can borrow my clothes," Golden Girl's feet slowly begin to float off the ground. Rose nods and flies up, X looking up at her with a smirk.
"Exactly where are we going?" Rose asks.
Liam points behind him at Damian, "The rich brat's mansion. Or in other words, our home. I'll be back, I need to lock up the head courters."
When they arrived at the mansion, she couldn't believe her eyes. She steps out of the car and stares in awe at the sight before her. There are two water fountains on each side, a stone walkway in the middle. The grass is soft and cool, reaching up to the ankle. The monstrous-sized mansion the walkway leads to is a gray color.
A door stands in between two large pillars that reach up to the third floor. Her mouth hangs agape and her eyes are wide. Damian smiles cockily and walks to the front door, Liam following behind him. Lisa smirks and closes her mouth.
When they enter the mansion, Lisa throws her boots off, Liam drops to the ground and Damian sits on the stairs, taking a needed breath. Rose scans the foyer of the house. There are two stairs on each side, almost forming a circle but leaving space in the middle. The floor is marble and the walls on the inside are a dark wood.
There is an open door on the right, leading to a hallway. On the left is a shelf holding pictures of the group in different battles. All of them seem to have been taken by Liam since his face is in the way of every single one. She giggles and looks ahead. There is a step leading to a small sitting area and two openings on both sides.
She walks further and looks to her left at the kitchen and to her right at the hallway she saw earlier. She enters the kitchen then sees the living room to her right since it's open to the kitchen.
"You like it?" Damian said from behind her. She turns and nods then continues walking to the living room, seeing a glass door on her right leading to the backyard. "The pool's out there if you ever wanna take a swim. The others and I will change out of our Superhero suits. I'll take you to Lisa's room."
She nods her head once, "Thank you," She turns and looks at him, "For letting me stay here." He simply nods then turns again and begins walking to the foyer. She follows him.
He walks up the stairs and to a wooden door with Lisa's name printed on it. "Lisa," He knocks, "Rosalyn-"
"You can call me Rose,"
"Rose needs to come in,"
"Coming!" She opens the door and Rose enters. Damian leaves as Lisa closes the door. "Alright, let's get you clothes, shall we?"
"We shall,"
Lisa laughs, "oops, almost forgot about your wounds!" She walks to her dresser and takes out a small potion bottle, little bubbles trapped inside. She opens it and the bubbles float out then pop. "Drink this,"
"It's Minerva's healing potion," Rose takes the potion and examines the goddess of wisdom's work, "It's said to heal any half blood. My mother helped make this..."
"I know," Lisa said as Rose takes a sip, "It's bad for humans, it could kill them. It sucks because if that wasn't the case, everyone could heal faster. Dia was indeed a great potion brewer though."
"I actually inherited some of her skill," Rose hands the potion to Lisa, "If I find a formula, I can make one not harmful to humans."
"Can you really do that!?"
"I sure can try. I just have to use my mother's formula and reverse it a little. You really didn't have to waste some of the potion on me, water heals me."
"It's okay but water only heals relatives of the sea god?" Lisa closes the potion and puts it back in her dresser.
"River was my mother's father, making him my grandfather."
"That's so cool!"
"So... Can I take a shower?"
"Of course! By the way, we're gonna go celebrate later!"
"What for?" Rose asks as Lisa hands her a towel, undergarments and clothes.
Lisa chuckles, "You're kidding right? You're our newest member, well at least when you answer to Damian. So we have to celebrate!"
Rose cracks a smile, I can work with this.
"Welcome to the All-Powerful."
Rose raises a brow, "All-Powerful?"
Lisa places her hands on her hips boldly, "That's the name of our group. Now take a shower, let's get you dressed, and you could go to the head courters with Damian where you'll become a confirmed member of the All-Powerful."
Let's just hope he doesn't ask anything personal. Rose thought, 'Cause if he does, I'm screwed. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if he does. I didn't exactly sound very convincing when I told him why I crashed through the sky.
