chapter 36 *Over my dead Body*

Riley's pov 

i was in my room , when i heard hayley yelling my name , i vampsped to the study

and she was standing there freaking out 

"What? What happen?"i asked 

"i was talking to elijah than i heard explosion over the phone than the line cut"she said 

"oh my god"i said than grabbed my phone from my pocket and called klaus but he didnt answer

"he's not answering"i said 

"Oh God"she said hayley start pacing around the study

"please stop doing that"i said 

"i am freaking out Here Riley" she said than klaus and ELijah and jackson enter the study looking  very Disheveled and covered in ash

"Thank god you're alive!"hayley said than she gives a hug to jackson 

i walked to klaus 

"i am fine thanks for asking"he said 

"i didn't ask"i said than i stay silent for a moment 

"are you sure your fine"i asked looking worried at him he smile 

"What about the stones?"Hayley asked "Scattered across the bed of the Mississippi, I'd imagine."ELijah said "Marcel's not a fool. He knows an empowered werewolf army would mean the end of vampires in New Orleans. The explosion is his way of saying he means to prevent that. For all the good it'll do him."Klaus said i looked at him while he's talking than he looked at me i turn my head than looked down "Well, it did him pretty damn well, didn't it? "Hayley said 

"I'll be right back guys"i said than left the study and went to my room

i was standing in my room looking at myself in the mirror , he said end all vampires from new orleans and iam a vampire what about me?

than he enter the room 

"hey love"he said i turn to him

"hey"i said 

"so i might have said something hurt you am i right"he said 

"yup you're right , you said end all vampires in new orleans , what about me iam a Vampire by the way if you forgot"i said 

"Riley no one gonna hurt you i won't let that happen even hayley wont let that happen"he said 

"remember klaus one bite from a werewolf can kill me"i said 

"i know but trust me no one gonna bite you i'll make sure of that you have nothing to be afriad of Riley , do you trust me?"he asked 

"i do"i said 

"than don't worry about anything"he said he smiled than i smile back

Me and klaus walked to another room , Genevieve was in it getting ready to do the spell

"So Red hair i believe you're ready"i said walking inside the room

"The last ingredient is personal. As the spell is designed to control transformation, I need the blood of a werewolf who doesn't turn on a full moon. My first thought was Hayley, because of the pregnancy--"she said 

"Out of the question. I'd just as soon limit the mother of my unborn side to the side-effects of your witchery. I am half-wolf, I control my form-- use my blood."klaus said 

Klaus holds his hand out to her, but when she grabs a knife to use to cut his palm, he grabs her roughly by the arm

"If you fail to hold up your end of the deal, the consequences for you will be apocalyptic."Klaus said she gives him a smile  " Oh nik You say the most romantic things."i said with a smirk

Genevieve takes his hand and uses her knife to cut his palm. She drips the blood over the stones and it hisses as she begins the spell

Genevieve continues to cast the moonlight ring spell in the Mikaelson compound, while me and    Klaus, Hayley, and Elijah watch carefully

Than Suddenly Francesca rushes in 

"My people say Marcel is on the move, and he's bringing friends."She said "Get Hayley to safety."Klaus said to elijah than elijah walks over to hayley and grabs her arm"Come with me."Elijahs said "No. Some needs to watch her."Hayley said looking at Genevieve

"i'll stay" i said

"i'll stay with Riley so she won't be alone"Hayley said 

"no it's okay you go"i said than 

"You should help Klaus. My brothers and their security detail won't be much against a vampire army. I'll stay with the girls"she said 

"okay good plan"i said 

"Go elijah"hayley said

Genevieve stopping chanting

"Finally"i said 

"The stones are finished. I've done my part. Now, it's up to you."genevieve saidthan hayley walked to her to grab the stones"I'll get them to the Bayou."hayley said tha francesca rushs over to the witch and hods out her hand 

"Actually, she was talking to me."She said "What the hell is this?"hayley said 

Genevieve gives the stones to her 

"Call it a side deal. The point is, I'm taking the stones."she said than starts to walk away

"areyouout of your mind? You think the humans can go up against Klaus?"i said laughing"No, I don't. But, I'm not human."She said than she pulls out aq knife and uses it to slit the throat of her bodyguard , when the bodyguard dies she doubles over in pain than she looks up at me and hayley with gold eyes and fangs 

i stood infront of hayley to protect her 

"I'm like you, Hayley. And now, I'm gonna take back my town!"She said 

"over my dead body bitch"i said than i vampsped and about to punch her in the face she move i missed the hit than she grabbed me from my hair and bite me in the nec

iscreamed in pain

"Riley!!"hayley yelled i fall to the ground i was losing sight 

"You bitch"hayley said hayley was about ot hit franscece but genevieve said witchy words hayley faints 

"Hay...hayley"i said 

"you still here , do something"She said than Genevieve looked at me 

"i am sorry"Genevieve said than said a witchy words and everything went  black
