Your POV:
I was peacefully sleeping in bed when my brother ran in the room screaming. I groaned and threw my pillow at him.
"Shut up!" I exclaim.
"You promised you'd train with me today!"
"Fine! Let me get freaking ready first." I stick my tongue out and glare at him.
I quickly get ready and yet was suddenly dragged to the training grounds... no joke he grabbed my shirt and dragged me across town.
I saw a boy with long hair and a girl with buns... and a guy who looked like an older version of my brother...
I sigh and stand up, brushing myself off," Nice to meet you! I'm (Y/n) Lee." I bow.
"Neji."
"Tenten, Nice to meet you... though you look nothing like your brother..." she says.
"What? I thought we were identical." I giggle.
Tenten smiled.
"Let's begin training!" Sensei says.
Timeskip.
In the end everyone was out of breath while I kinda just stood there, absolutely fine," Your tolerance is incredible!" Sensei exclaims.
I smile and thank him," (Y/n)... would you... maybe like to go out for dinner or to get something to eat sometime?" Neji asks.
"Sure." I smile brightly.
We went to the Ichiraku ramen place and got ramen... I swear there was a drug in the noodles and that's why I'm so sleep now heheh.
Neji noticed and picked me up bridal style," N-Neji?" I blush and look at him.
"Just relax, I'll carry you home." I nod and lean into him.
A fear years timeskip
I sat on the bed staring at my toes... Neji and I had been dating for a while and he was sent on a dangerous mission...
Nobody's sure if anyone who went on the mission will make it out alive... it's been 3 weeks.
I sat on my bed silently crying... Neji... please come home... we all miss you so much. I felt like my legs were made of lead.
"(Y/n) you need to eat, you're getting too thin." Naruto said, sitting by my bed with a tray of food and a glass of water.
All I could think about is the first time I met Neji and when he asked me to hang out... I grabbed the glass of water and took a tiny sip.
Naruto sighed," That's better then nothing I guess..."
There was a knock at the door but I didn't bother to look up," (Y/n)~ look up~" Naruto said.
I shook my head not wanting to, I felt arms embrace me and instantly recognized the scent," N-Neji?" I choke back tears.
"Yes, Princess, it's me." He strokes my hair.
I hug him back while crying," I thought I lost you!" I sob.
"Good luck trying to get me away from you." He laughs.
I smile and snuggle into him.
Another timeskip.
I sat in the dirt in front of a gravestone, I placed flowers on the grave and walked away.
