"So is it true?"
I whirl around to find myself face to face with Sadie, the town gossip.
"What is it now?" I sighed in frustration. "Did I go to Mexico to have an a secret abortion? Or maybe I went to England to have a nice tea party with the Queen?"
Sadie remained silent and stated at me as if I had grown tentacles and decided to slap her with them.
"No... I just heard that you had your stomach pumped three times." She boldly states.
The stupidity of the human race never ceases to amaze me. I had missed school for a week and they come up with this bullshit.
"No, I did not. Like when I didn't get pregnant or have sex in the woods with Josh. Please, just leave me alone. It's too early to deal with bullshit" Sadie quickly ran back to her seat, probably informing her friends that I denied their accusations.
It wasn't even 8 o'clock and I was already ready to slam my head against the desk.

The room quickly quiets down as I enter the room. Everyone turns to stare as if I was some sort of unknown creature. In that moment, I wished he was here. To help me through this prison we call school.I scanned the room for a empty seat and try to avoid the curious stares. It was third period: calculus. I was the only junior in a room full of seniors. Most of them don't bother to ask me questions directly. They just hear it from Sadie.
I take the seat in the back where most of the desks are empty. By now, almost all of them have already turned back to their conversations of how amazing their summer was, or perhaps the accident.
"Hey," I heard a raspy voice say. I continue to doodle in my notebook. "Hey! Hello? Anyone home?" Is he talking to me? I turn around to find a tall boy, looking right at me.
"Why are you talking to me?" I asked, honestly confused. Didn't he know? I'm sure one of the idiots informed him to stay away from the freak, the outcast...
"Can't I say hi to a pretty girl?" He said with a smile on his face.
I can't help but to let a laugh out. Me? Pretty? Right... I'm average at best. I'm average hight, brown hair, brown eyes... I'm Simple. Forgettable.
"Listen love, I don't think you know yet but I'm not someone you want to be friends with. So if I were you I'd turn around and walk away now. You'll fit in perfectly with the sheep." I tell him, pointing towards the rest of the class. He was good looking, he'd fit in perfectly with the artificial people trying so hard to please each other.
" 'The sheep'?" Mystery Boy asks, already taking a seat next to me.
"Yes, 'the sheep'." I say with a sigh. I turn back to my current doodle of Freddie from 'Skins'.
"Well that clears everything up," He sarcastically replies. "So what are 'the sheep'?" He questions.
I turn to look at him, avoiding eye contact. "I don't know who you are, but I'm guessing you're new here. So let me do you a favor, stay away from me. I'm not good. Just ask anyone around. I'm sure they'll tell you some good rumors."
"What if I want to stay? Even if your not 'good'," he says softly.
"Then I'd say your a idiot"
