"Brook !! Get down stairs Ravin is here!!" I heard my mother yelling from down stairs. Ravin. My girlfriend. Well so my mom thinks. Ravin is really just my best friend. She acts like my girlfriend so no one starts trying to figure out why i have never had one. You see i'm gay, but im a vampire and I live in a place called the underworld. The underworld. The place where all mythic beings live. Living here and being gay is not the best idea. If the high council found out you where gay they would behead you without even thinking twice. "Brook!!! Down stairs now!" Jumping out of my train of thought I get out of my bed and go down stairs. I smile seeing Ravin. "hey Hun". I walked to her and kisses her cheek and gave her a hug. A show for my mom and my mom buys every minute of it."You two go have fun now. go on get!" My mom said and i laughed softly walking out with Ravin at my side. "You still havent let her know?" I looked at her and sighed as we walked away from my house."And what am I supposed to say. Hey mom im gay and ravin? yeah shes just my pretend girlfriend! oh yeah she would run to the high council and tell them what i had just told her!" I sighed and looked away from her."Lets go to the park ravin" I turned the corner to head to the park looking at the ground. "Hey Brook it will be okay." I looked up at her and nodded slightly. "okay" I mumbled to her.
We stayed at the park for a few hours before heading back to my place. When we got there i walked in. "mom! me and ravin are going to my room!!" I yelled and walked up the stairs with her. I locked my door after she was in the room. We laid on my bed and stared at each other. "I wish i could just come out and tell everyone and not have to worry about dieing!" I yawned when I finished.
"I do to, but you can't so just go to sleep you big knuckle head" She giggled and pushed me playfully.
"why should I Ravin?" I chuckled tiredly and looks at her. She smirked at me and pushed me down on the bed.
"Sleep child!" She laughs and lays bedside me. Shaking my head I wrap my arms around her and fell asleep.
