(On hiatus )Starlight's adventures in hogwarts

~Chapter 2~

                                                           ~1 week later~

   "STARLIGHT WAKE UP! BREAKFAST IS READY!"  My mom said loudly. I opened my eyes, then I looked at the clock. It was 9:30.  I got up and started walking to the kitchen.

"What took you so long? I have been calling your name about 15 minutes ago." My mom said.

"I might have overslept." I replied.

"Well I don't care, we are going to  Diagon Alley today," My father said. I sat down to eat the food and then I ate it. I can't wait to go to Hogwarts. My father wants me to be in slytherin but to be honest, I don't feel I belong in Slytherin. My mom told me that Hufflepuff  is a great house to be in but I'm not sure if I should be sorted into hufflepuff. I could also end up in Ravenclaw because of my love for reading. But I know I'm definitely not in Gryffindor

Once I finished eating, I started getting ready to go to Diagon Alley.

                                              -At Diagon alley-

 "I'm going to get you the textbooks and some other stuff, while your father takes you to get your robes fitted." My mom said. Then she entered Flourish and Blotts. My father and I walked to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions 

                                          -time skip because I can-

 After I got my robes, my father and I went to Ollivanders to get my wand. When we entered , it looked a bit empty (except some large piles of small boxes) until..

"Good morning." Said an old man.

"Good morning Ollivander." My father says.

"Ah.. Adrian Umbra, I was wondering when we would see each other again. I remember the time you got your wand: cypress wood, dragon heartstring core, 13 1/4 inches,and very supple." Mr. Ollivander says. My father nods. Ollivander looks at the boxes of wands and takes out one. He gives it to me. "Give it a wave" he said. I waved the wand and the windows shattered. 

"Nope nope, just no", Ollivander said while looking for another wand, "Here, try this, oak wood, unicorn hair, 9 3/4 inches." I waved the wand and the all the boxes fell. 

"Let's try with this wand, blackthorn, dragon heartstring, 11 1/2 inches, unyielding." He handed me the wand. I waved it and I can feel the power, it was an amazing feeling. "I think this is the one." I said.

"Yes, the wand has chosen you. Take good care of it." Ollivander says. My father paid for the wand and we left. My mum was waiting for me and we all went to eat some ice cream at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour.

When we got home, I was greeted with my pet crows, Nox and Diem. Nox had pure black feathers and eyes that blended in the feathers. Diem was the opposite, she had white feathers with red eyes, pretty rare for a crow. Nox is aggressive and loud while Diem is usually calm and quiet. Nox has a big grudge against Orion the owl, ever since Orion stole Nox's food, he almost brutally attacked poor Orion and never forgave him ever since. I thought of bringing Nox to Hogwarts so he can stay away from Orion. 

Anyways, I started to read some of the books that was for school in my room until I heard a loud knock on the door outside. I went downstairs to see who it was and it was Aunt Iris, Uncle Ignus , and cousins Blanc and Noire, they were twins. Blanc had white hair and purple eyes, Noire had black hair and black eyes. (Notice the similarities between them and the crows?)  Aunt Iris has rainbow hair but her natural hair color was blonde and has black eyes. Uncle Ignus has flaming red hair and hazel eyes.

"Good to see you Starlight!," Iris said, and gave me a hug. 

"Hello Starlight!" Blanc and Noire said at the same time. It was a bit creepy when they speak at the same time but they are really great people. 

"Hello Blanc. Hello Noire. Are you two excited for our first year at Hogwarts?" I asked.

"Very excited!" Noire said.

"I'm excited but a bit scared. I hope me and Noire are in the same house." Blanc said nervously.

"Don't worry Blanc." Said Noire. 

"Hello, sister.." my father said. 

"Adrian! I have amazing news!"  Iris said.

"What is it?" 

"I GOT THE JOB FOR DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS!!!" Iris squealed.

"Congratulations sister, but isn't the job cursed?" He asked. The job was cursed because of You-Know-Who.

"I know, I did it for personal reasons." She says quietly. What could the reason be?

"Food is ready!" My mum said. 

When we finished eating. My aunt, uncle, and cousins left. I went back to reading, Nox sat on my shoulder. Then, I fell asleep.

H£||0! it's been almost 2 years since I created chapter 1. I was in 7th grade when I wrote ch 1. Now I'm in highschool owo. Now that we're in quarantine, I can finally write my story! I started writing this chapter back in 2018 but never finished until now. Next chapter, Starlight is going to to Hogwarts. See you next year! Jk... Unless  😳  Also, there's some foreshadowing in this chapter. ;)
