No more was the battle being won,
So she took them all one by one,
Tears soaked the bottom of her sleeve,
For this is not what anyone thought it would be,
One by one going in her mouth,
One by one, her sobs grew loud,
No one knew the pain she was going through,
Nor did anything think she was going to,
One by one, the pain went away,
One by one, this was the only way,
Her fathers voice in her head,
His last words to her were, "go to bed,"
One by one, his words disappeared,
One by one, her mothers steps neared,
As she took the last one, her head hit the floor,
As she took her last breath, her mother opened the door..
+ I have a little story that goes along with this. The day I made this poem, my sister found it and showed it to my mother. My mother came up to me and said "no one by one's" then walked away..
+ You need to be willing to let people in about what's going on. No one can read your mind. No one can know how you feel, unless you tell them. All it takes is motivation. You need to want to get better in order to get better. Even if you think no one understands, someone does. You just need to give them a chance.
Someone, somewhere, will listen. Someone, somewhere, will help. Someone, somewhere, will care..
