It was another sunny day in California when the tall 16 year old named Rose was getting ready to go to ballet class. " Mom I'm walking to dance today. " Exclaimed Rose while heading for the door. " Okay honey just be careful, and come home right after! " Yelled Rose's mom while doing the dishes. Rose nodded her head and left the house feeling stupid
because she left all her stuff for dance in her room. She quickly rushed inside the house and went upstairs to get the items she needed. Rose got out of the house for a second time and started walking on the pavement outside. She waved at her next door neighbour Mrs.Tinker. As her neighbour waved back a bright smile appeared on Rose's face.
OnceRose got to the dance studio she replaced her worn out running shoes for ballet shoes and her baggy shirt and pants were replaces by a navy blue leotard. She got into the studio and started off with a few stretches. People in class would always talk about her like when the say that she gets everything because of her looks but that wasn't the truth. Rose worked hard for everything she got and at the end of the day she deserved it. Once Mrs.Race walked in (the dance teacher) the room went silent. " Okay time to audition for solos at Compitition. " Mrs.Race exclaimed. Rose took a deep breath and decided to audition. She was last so she took centre and danced like there was no one in the room. At the end Rose got the solo. Mrs.Race told her to be at the studio at 7:30am for practise.
Rose went to the change room to change back into her old clothes and shoes. She took her stuff and took off. As she was walking down the street she her a loud honk behind her. Rose turned around and saw a car come full force at her. Rose gasped and closed her eyes. There was A sharp pain she felt in her side as she fell to the cold pavement. "HELP THIS GIRL JUST GOT HIT BY A CAR PLEASE SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!!! " Yelled a man who saw the whole thing happen.
"Where am I? " The voices in Rose's head exclaimed. She started walking around and noticed a beautiful ballerina in the
sky. " Hello welcome to the underworld my name is Rose and if you don't pass this test you will look like me. I will test your strength and in dance. I will judge you. Don't worry I can't lie down her I am forced to tell the truth, if you are good enough I will send you back to earth to have another chance at life. " The ballerina exclaimed. Rose then nodded her head and accepted the challenge. All of the sudden a pair of ballet shoes appeared on her feet and a beautiful sunset orange dress appeared on her. Music was playing as Rose started dancing. After lots of dancing she finished and got a standing ovation from the ballerina. Then a puff of smoke appeared in frond of her.
Rose then woke up in her bed noticing that it was nothing but a silly dream.
