Lily yawned, the warm sunshine from the window sprawled across her pale skin, warming her body up. Her bright blue eyes slowly fluttered opened, as she looked around her bedroom. It was a very normal bedroom, dresser to the left, closet on the right. Her makeup was scattered about her vanity. She sat up, her legs swinging over the side, her feet landing on the wooden floor. She stood up and headed for the bathroom to start her normal routine for the day.

The bathroom lights flicked on, as she looked in the mirror. She looked like a mess waking up, but not like she had anyone to impress. Her long blonde hair was sticking out in weird places, and her long braid was falling apart. She pulled the falling apart braid over her should and started working it apart with her fingers.

I really should get my nails done soon, the polish is starting to chip. Maybe that's what I should do today. Lily thought to herself.

Bending over, she turned on the water to her shower, stripped down and climbed in. The hot water felt amazing running down her back as she dropped her head and relaxed. The time was coming where this normality she clung to so hard was going to disappear, and she wasn't really sure how she was going to take it. Lily had known her fate since she was a young girl, but she hadn't ever really been worried about it. Lately she had been enjoying her normal life, having friends, doing simple things like going to a cafe for a coffee, the idea of eventually giving this up to become a Princess once again made her stomach turn.

As she turned off the water, she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself, and then her hair. She stepped out onto the black rug and glanced at the mirror again, at least her hair looked a bit normal. She walked into her bedroom, grabbing her outfit - Button down white shirt, black skirt, black thigh highs, heels, and a black tie, she quickly got dressed and dried her hair. She grabbed her bag and headed out the door.

The day was absolutly beautiful, full of sunshine and a very breezy day. Lily smiled and waved at her neighbor, as she made her way down the sidewalk. Welcome to the small town of Asitria, the   immortal expanse. Asitria was a world in which the unbelievable was believable, Vampires roamed the streets, werewolves were great at running food trucks, and half naked Neko woman were the extreme normal. Lily paused briefly to sniff the flowers at a side of the road stand. She smiled at the man behind the counter.

"Can I interest you in a bouquet today? A pretty bouquet for a pretty lady." He smiled, his smile was quiet creepy actually.

"No, thank you." Lily smiled as she continued her way down the road.

She had no destination in mind, but she also hated staying couped up in her apartment. Making her way into the park, she stood sat on the bench, crossing her legs. she pulled out her phone and began reading some news articles. Yet again, her father, Lord Crimson was in the news yet again. The Crimsons themselves were a form of celebrities in most of the world, thankfully no one here had noticed who she was, it was exhausting when people ran up and asked a thousand questions about her family, the one thing she wanted to run away from.

"Hello there." A male voice caught her attention.

Lily looked up from her phone seeing a blue haired boy gazing down at her. She blinked a few times, the sun causing a bright outline around his silhouette almost made him look like a god, and in this fun little world, gods were actually something you ran into.

"I, uh, Hello there." Lily smiled, still looking up at him.

"Care to join me for a bite to eat at the cafe?" He pointed down a pathway, leading towards a cafe that Lily knew pretty well actually.

Lily was a little iffy, she wasn't exactly a fan of taking a random strangers hand and going to lunch. But on the other hand, her days of freedom were slowly inching to a close, and she truly didn't wanna look back on never having taken a chance on anything when she did have this freedom. Just a quick bite to eat, nothing more. Dating wasn't allowed.
