Harry POV

I am really worried about my sister. What did I do that made our brother sister relationship drift apart. I was waiting for Suha to come back from Rana's room and explain everything to me. I was getting very concerned as the minutes past by. Did I do something really bad. I began biting on my nails faster and faster until I heard thumps going down the hollow wooden stairs. Suha came and sat next to me on the couch. She sighed and looked me straight into the eye. This must be something serious. "Harry you need to talk to Rana. I know she probably wont look at you but you cant hear this from me. It may sound a little bit too dramatic to be mad over this but in a girls perspective its horrible and needs to be fixed. Rana is up in her room shedding some tears every once in a while. I suggest you go talk to her immediately." Suha said strictly. I nodded my head and walked up the stairs. I walked down the hall to reach Rana's room. I stood at her door and sighed.

Rana POV

*Knock *Knock " Who is it" I said trying hard to stay strong. "Its Harry can I please come in" Harry pleaded. I accepted and let him in after all he is my brother. An overly protective brother. I rolled my eyes at the thought of him being too protective. " Come in" I said unenthusiastically. He walked in and came and sat at the edge of my bed. He took a deep breathe. " Rana tell me what I did wrong? Please I want to fix it.'' he begged. "No Harry it cant be fixed." I spoke. " Everything is possible to fix. Just tell me" Harry began to beg on his knees. "Fine I will tell you" I finally gave in, " Its mostly about you being too overprotective on me. It all starts at that day when I kissed Liam as a dare. Remember that day we went out to Nandos well you pulled me back and asked me who i liked. I honestly told you um.. uh.. Liam. Then when we were at Nandos Liam pulled me out of the restaurant and asked me if I was in trouble for kissing him. I said no and asked why I would be in trouble. He told me what you told the boys at the airport. Liam mentioned that you told the boys that I'm off limits. Harry you cant tell them who to date, and most importantly you cant stop me from what happens in my love life. Any ways these past 2 weeks I have noticed that every time Liam would get close to me you would interrupt it or clear your throat. How would you like it if I told you that Suha cant date you. Obviously you would feel terrible since you fancy her. That's why I have been upset and ignoring you" I finally ended. I was playing with my fingers until Harry stopped me. " Look me in the eyes Rana" he said quietly. " I know you like Liam and I'm sorry for ruining anything for you but but I just cant I don't know. After what happened with your last boyfriend I got a bit scared. That's one reason I kept you from being close with the boys." Harry explained. I rolled my eyes. "Harry do you really think that your four best mates would do that to me. Do you really think that they would hurt me or abuse me in any way. Listen Harry my last boyfriend Ryan ya well he was stupid okay. But do you honestly think that any of the boys would do anything to me." I replied. "No I . I was just trying to protect you I'm sorry if you don't want my protection then fine." Harry snapped at me. I held his wrist before he could leave me. "Harry no I did not mean it in that way its just I want a little more freedom especially with the boys. Harry don't be mad at me." I persuaded Harry. He chuckled and came back and gave me a massive hug. "I could never be mad at you" He said and pecked my cheeks," I will try to um solve this problem okay Rana" he whispered. I nodded my head and released from the hug.

Liam POV

I heard some explaining and a bit of crying going on in Rana's room. I sneaked up to her door and placed my ear onto the door. One side of me told me to stay and listen to what she was saying. The other half of me was telling me to stop eavesdropping because its bad. " do you really think that your four best mates would do that to me. Do you really think that they would hurt me or abuse me in any way. Listen Harry my last boyfriend Ryan ya well he was stupid okay." I heard Rana explain to Harry. I took my ear off of the door and walked down the stairs and went outside to the backyard. I needed some thinking time. What was Rana talking about why was she telling harry that. Those couple of sentences rang through my head. A few words floated in my mind even more. Abuse and Last boyfriend Ryan was stupid. Those 2 phrases would not stop replaying in my head. I need to figure what she means. I came back in the house and ran up to the room I shared with Rana. Luckily Rana was in there alone. I walked in and locked the door behind us. "Hi Rana I need to talk to you" I said with a smile. She nodded and sat on the bed. " I'm really sorry about what I did earlier. You may not know this but I heard some crying in the room and so I wanted to see if you were okay", I blushed, " I put my ear on the door and kind of eavesdropped for a little while but a couple of things I heard were these words : Abuse and Hurt. I also heard that your last boyfriend was stupid. Now you don't need to do what I'm going to say now but Could I get a little explaining please?" I explained with guilt taking over me. " First I got to say that I'm impressed that you were eavesdropping, not something that Liam would do" Rana said laughing, ".and um uh I just used to have a boyfriend about 4 months ago and I dumped him because he would abuse me sometimes for stupid reasons" Rana said more quietly and a tear slipped down her face. I wiped it away and held her arm. I folded the sleeve and noticed that there was scars and bruises everywhere. " I.I.I'm so sorry Rana um uh I should have never asked Its not my business" I stuttered. "Its fine you have the right to know" Rana said looking down at the ground. I gave her a huge hug and released quickly because Harry probably would get mad. "lets just go back down with everyone else" I offered. Rana agreed and we raced down the stairs. We sat in the living room with everybody else and had a good time.

Harry POV

We were all gathered in the living room talking and laughing at random stuff. I zoned out of the conversation and remembered earlier when Rana and I had that little talk. I told her that I would fix it and I would keep that promise. Liam was sitting beside me so I asked him if we could have a little talk. He nodded his head and we went to the kitchen for some piece and quiet. " Liam I just have one quick question okay but you have to answer truthfully" I said "Ya sure I would never lie to you." Liam replied. "Do you maybe um fancy my sister?" I asked. "Um uh yes" Liam looked down at the floor. "Okay well um I know that Rana may like you too, so I'm going to give you a chance with her." I winked at Liam."Are you serious Harry" Liam was surprised." I nodded my head and winked at him. I hope this can fix things.
