Samantha POV
"Valentine" the four boys on stage sang.
I'm about to meet 5sos right after this. I'm here with my friend Karen who is practically in love with Luke. I'm not a fan but Karen made me come here.
As the stadium was emptying me, Karen, and a few other fans who were also meeting the band, went backstage with our passes to meet the boys. Karen was freaking out. We waited for what seemed like forever and the boys were finally ready to meet us.
We all got in a line waiting to meet the boys one by one. When it was me and Karen's time, Karen could barely get her words out.
"Hi! I'm Karen, I'm a huge fan! It's so good to meet you guys" she smiles brightly.
"Hello Karen, it's lovely to meet you as well, do you want a picture, autograph, both?" Luke asks.
"Picture please" she says.
She takes her pictures and Ashton asks my name.
"Hey, what's your name? Anything you would like?" He winks.
"Oh, no no, I'm just here for Karen. I'm Samantha" i smile.
"Nice to meet you Samantha" He smiles and stands up to hug me. It was a very tight and comforting hug. I pull away and look to see Karen taking a picture with Micheal now.
"Where are you from" Ashton asks me.
"Here in California" I laugh.
"Which part?"
"San Francisco"
"You know we have a song called San Francisco" He smiles.
"Yea, Karen makes me listen to all your songs" I laugh.
"And?"
"They're great" I laugh looking into his beautiful hazel green eyes.
"Happy to hear that" he laughs too.
"Ashton get I get a quick picture with you too?" Karen comes up to us.
"Of course" he says and goes for a picture. Luke then comes up to me.
"Anything for you?" He asks.
"No, thanks, I was just here for Karen" I feel like I'm repeating myself.
"Just a quick picture won't hurt" he smiles.
"Just take one Samantha, you have to remember this forever" Karen says joyfully.
"What about a group picture?" I suggest. All the boys nod. "Karen get in it too" I say.
We get in the group position we want, Calum was at one end with Ashton next to him, me next to Ashton, then Karen, Luke and lastly Micheal. Ashton snaked his arm around my waist pulling me a little bit closer to him. Then the person taking our photo, took the picture.
We all pull away and me and Karen hug each boy goodbye.
When I pulled away from Ashton he handed me a small paper.
"Bye Samantha, it was lovely meeting you" he grins.
"You too Ashton" I wave.
Me and Karen get to the car and she freaks out.
"Oh my god that was amazing!!! Ashton was like all over you!" She screams.
"Ok ok, we were just talking" I laugh.
"No way, you guys were literally flirting with each other" she squeals.
"He gave me this paper" I say showing her.
"OPEN IT!" She screams.
"Ok ok!" I say.
I open it and find a number on it and writing:
Hey, I thought you were really cute and fun to talk to so, here's my number -xoxo Ash
I read it out loud.
"Oh. My. God. Ashton Irwin has a crush on you!" Karen screams.
"Stop screaming! It's probably fake" I say.
"Only one way to find out" she smiles. I roll my eyes and put it into my phone, because if I don't, I will never hear the end of it.
I enter "Ashton Irwin🥁"
"Text him!" Karen says.
"Just drive, take me home" I push her shoulder.
I get home I text the number.
Me-Hey
Ashton-Is this Samantha?
Me-yea haha
Ashton-I didn't think you'd text tbh
Me-Karen made me tbh with you
Ashton- So you didn't wanna talk to me lmao
Me-No that's not it. I just don't normally talk to guys you know lol
Ashton-Maybe we could change that;)
Me- Maybe;)
Ashton-could you hang out tomorrow? I have a house here in Cali
Me-Sure:) what time?
Ashton-12?
Me- sounds good. I'll talk to you in the morning
Ashton-okay, goodnight beautiful
Me-goodnight:)
I can't believe THE Ashton Irwin has taken an interest in me. I'm not a huge fan of his band but he's a big deal. And of all people he thinks I'm cute.
I actually really excited for tomorrow.
But there's a problem, Im 16 and he's 22. If anything actually happens, it's illegal...
