"Well first thing is the pack doesn't trust you. The second is they want you dead and merely hate the fact that even get a trail. The third is they think you're deceitful and have been spying on them so pretty much the odds of you winning the trail are slim to none and if you do lose you're going to die. If you win well let's get past the arraignment so you can have a trail." That was a whole lot of bad news. Despite what he was saying he still has hope in his eyes so I guess there is a way to turn all of this around I hope.

"If it is all bad news then why are you looking so hopeful?" I ask still processing all of what he just told me. "Well there is a way we can win. Being that you went rogue and came here at such a young age not only that but another pack sent you here as well, gives grounds for a good case for you to stay. There is something that I need your and your wolf's consent for when it comes to asking to go to a certain type of trail." When he says this he shifts uncomfortable along with Bernice and Jeff. They all look at each other and Bernice speaks. "You must understand we are not going to force you to do this. If it makes you or your wolf uncomfortable then we will find another way."

Now I'm starting to get nervous. "Okay. Um okay. Lets hear it?" It came out more of a question then statement but they still reply as if it wasn't stated as a question. They must know how nervous I am based on their reactions and body language they are equally as nervous. Keeping in mind that my life is the one on the line so it must be seriously difficult. Michael shifts around a little more and flashes me a worrisome expression then inhales deeply so he can explain. "Before I explain what we will ask I want to explain how it will work before and after your arraignment. Next week on Saturday morning you will be sent certain clothes to wear to your arraignment, the same will happen with your trail, please wear those close they will be picked out by the three of personally to make you appealing to the council and judge."

I nod in understanding and agree to wear whatever they give me, plus I trust Bernice to not have me looking crazy. "Okay. So the next thing that will happen is you will be brought forward to a council it will usually consist of 5 people which are Alpha, Luna, Beta, a the eldest of the pack and a judge. However, due to your connection to Alpha and Luna they won't be able to sit in. Instead the future beta and another Elder will take their place. To get the trail they will vote for you to either accept or deny the trail. You only need a majority so three votes in order to move on. If you don't get those votes you will either be sent out our territory and forever deemed a rogue or you will be killed."

He takes a breath as he must sense how worried I'm becoming I don't even realize I'm crying and shaking until Jeff and Bernice wrap me in a hug and wipe my tears away. I'm not afraid to be a rogue or  death I just don't want either. I found my home here along with my mate I can't lose then and I will do what ever it takes to keep them. "So during the arrival what type of trail will be asking for?" I ask. "I will get there. After the arraignment you will be sent back to this cell and we will be allowed 3 hours a day outside to meet people in the pack. This is a must I can't emphasize the importance of this part enough. The whole pack will decide your fate the council can have a preference but the pack makes the decision and meeting people will allow you to make an impression on you maybe you can get people to testify in your favor.

After your trail you will find out If the pack decides your fate. If you aren't accepted by them you will either be a prisoner, be killed or, be forced to leave and remain a rogue." Bernice steps in "listen closely to the next thing carefully. We have three different types of trails one can ask for and two are not an easy feat. The easiest is your typical human trail only no jury your lawyer will speak for you and you can make your case. The next is harder and physical. You will have to fight for your spot. You will have to battle in your human form three people, it will be a fair fight everyone will have the same build and strength as you. The only part is that your opponent can fight in either wolf or human form. You will fight until someone taps out. That can not be you.

"The third trail is the hardest of all them it takes both a mental and physical toll on both you and your wolf. It is a force shift trail. During this time you will be injected with a serum to force you to shift. You will be disconnected to your wolf as you in you cant control her but your will still be able to talk to her in a dense. You also won't be able to control your though. After your shift a reader will be placed on your wolfs head and another serum will be injected into you. This serum will allow us to see the moment your wolf can to you. This helps us to see your true thoughts. Your visions and past will be put on a giant screen in front of the pack. If it is too grusome or we feel that enough is shown the screen will turn off and within the hour hour you will shift back."

It was my turn to speak. "So let me guess we are going to ask for the third one." He nodded. "The back up plan is the fight. In both you will still need to go out but you will also need training for the fight." Jeff stepped in. "We're sorry Kat but the first type of trail isn't an option for you because you will need to tell everyone everything. But we need to know your choice like now."

"I can't lose you guys you're my family and if the third option will get me there then both me and my wolf will accept the challenge." To confirm what I already knew my wolf howled with agreement. She had just as much to lose.
