Chapter 8

Its been a while....lol

When you think, oh its summer, ill have plenty of time to write...then you end up forgetting about it haha, guilty. 

welp, hope you enjoy this chapter and what not, its kind of like a filler, kinda not, mehh just enjoy~

We walk into the mall, somewhere where I haven't been In a while, and it feels bigger than the last time. "Dangg, I haven't been here in a while, its heka big" Jasper says looking around at the three story building with escalators and everything. Honeslty its amazing.

We start our search going from store to store to find my perfect dress. Our theme for prom will be starry night gala and im looking for a black or navy dress with gold touches.

I know it will be fun. I think we might wear masks to but I don't know yet.

We pass by many unique stores and shops but none seem appealing. Jasper insists to go into a shoe store, so we do. He ends up buying a pair of Tims, that boy. However, I do find the most simple and perfect pair of black heels inside. They are a 4 inch, 2 strapped , open toe type of heel. I love them. And they're the most comfortable heels I've ever worn.

After that, we keep strolling through the mall.

"ugh, why don't any stores sell nice dresses!?" Jasper says irritated.

"I don't know, but I'm getting tired"

We nearly give up because we reach the other side of the mall.

"oh, God, what the heck, this mall is horrible.."

"wait!" I say cutting him off as I stop in front of the last store. In the store I see a beautiful array of dresses all lined up on mannequins, displayed in perfection. The store has dimmed lights so the embellished dresses sparkle despite the shadows.

"lets go in" Jasper says excited, and leading the way.

We go in and the store Is surprisingly very spacious with dresses all along the walls and there is a circular display that you could walk through in the middle. We walk through the entire store once, just taking all the dresses in, but it appears as if there is no employees.

" This place is very hidden and reserved, it almost looks like there is no employees or windows" Jasper says being very observant.

I hadn't realized that until he mentioned it. We start looking for as dress that met my preferences. I look around and see a row of dark colored dresses.

"These are very nice" Jasper says while heading in that direction.

"They are indeed beautiful." Says a voice emerging from some silk black curtains. Out comes a woman that looks about to be 70 years of age. Although you could see the age in her eyes, she still looks very young, if that makes any sense. She has long , white, hair and is wearing a floor length, black dress. Shes also wearing a most unique head piece.

"Hello, I'm Bella" she says nodding her head in greeting.

"Good afternoon" Jasper and I say simultaneously as we nod our heads as well.

"To what do I owe your company?" Bella says tilting her head slightly. And I begin..

"well, it's our last year in high school and well we were looking for a prom dress for me..something simple but elegant and so we came around and found your store"
