This Is How All It Began (Diza)

3. The Date

- One week Later-
-Liza's Point Of View-
It was six in the afternoon, I was getting ready for my date with David. I straightened my hair , grabbing a white crop top and short blue shorts from my closet, quickly putting them on, applying some makeup on my face and finally finished getting myself ready. Gabbie walked into my room, shouting about random things that I couldn't even understand. I looked at her weirdly, she let out a laugh and sat down on my bed.
"You and David are probably going to make out!" Gabbie exclaimed.
"No, we're not! Now, shush!"
-30 minutes later-
David knocked on the door, Gabbie quickly running down the stairs to open it.
"Hey, Gabbie." David said, holding roses in his hands.
"Aw, David, you shouldn't have!" Gabbie exclaimed, pretending they  were for her.
"Actually, these are for Liza."David whispered. Gabbie chuckled and let David walk in.
"Now, David, what are you intentions with Liza?"
"Uh for her to have fun?" David said, more as a question because he was extremely nervous.
"Good! Now, don't break her heart! Do I make myself clear?" Gabbie said, looking at him in all seriousness. I walked out, greeting him.
"Sorry about her, David." I whispered.
"It's alright! I got you these roses!" David said, handing the roses to me. I smiled , grabbing them and putting them in a vase full of water. I thanked him and embraced him into a tight hug.
"You two have fun! Have her home by eight!" Gabbie exclaimed, as David and I walked out of the house. We laughed and he opened the car door for me, I thanked him as he closed it, going to his own door and hopping in. He begins to drive us, we finally got to our destination and it's... Olive Garden!
"I love Olive Garden!"
"Me too!" David exclaimed. Can David actually be my soulmate...? He and I have so much in common and get along so well. David opens the door for me again, I give him another a thank you as we both walk into the nice restaurant. David held my hand as we did this, I blushed, looking at our hands. We both ordered our food and we ate. We had a very deep conversation about literally everything and we brought up a lot of sad jokes.
"Hey Liza, I really loved tonight! I was wondering if you would like to go on another date with me?" David asked me, his voice was full of hope.
"I had a lot of fun tonight, too! Of course, I'll go on another date with you!" I cheered, David grabbing my hand as he kissed it. I smiled , a blush appearing on my face. David grabbed my hand and took me back to the car, opening the door for me again, I thanked him and he went to his side and hopped in, driving us back to my place.
"Want to stay a little while longer? I know, Gabbie wouldn't mind!"
"Sure, I would love to, Liza!"
- three minutes later-
We finally get to my house and we quickly walk inside. Gabbie, Lele and Juanpa greeting us and I gave them all a hug. David started talking to Juanpa about guy stuff and the girls and I began to talk about the date with David. I asked everyone if they wanted some coffee and everyone said sure and I quickly prepared the coffee, David actually helping me prepare it.  We hand everyone their coffee and all started talking about our careers and what we were planning to do next.
"I had so much fun tonight, Liza!" David said to me as I walked him outside.
"I did too, David." I smiled.
"I really want to kiss you but I'm afraid that you'll think it's too soon..." David whispered to himself, looking at the floor.
"I wouldn't mind if you kissed me, David. I want you to be my first kiss.." I whispered back to David, he smiled softly, looking up at me, slowly & gently grabbing my face,  kissing me softly as held my cheeks. I kissed back gently, enjoying his presence, his company, I really love his charming personality. Now, I know for sure that David Dobrik feels the same. David smiled, holding onto my hand as we stared at the stars. He looked down at his phone, checking the time and realizing that it was now midnight.
"Goodnight Liza! I can't wait for our next date!"
"Goodnight David! I can't wait for our next date, as well! You're absolutely perfect!"  I said, blushing as I stare into his eyes. David looks at me in a "in love" type of way and leans down, kissing me softly again. I kissed back, placing my arms on his neck and we finally let go of each other and David waves at me, going back to his car and driving off to his own home.
I walk back in the house and see Gabbie, Lele and Juanpa stare at me.
"What?" I questioned.
"TELL US EVERYTHING!" Gabbie and Lele exclaimed and so I did, I told them everything. I told them  about my perfect first kiss, something I thought happened only in movies, I told them about how perfect he was on our date and I told them how I'm deeply in love with him. Lele and Gabbie squeal, Juanpa and I let out a laugh at their squealing. Lele and Juanpa  finally head back to their place since it was now 12:30 am. I whisper a goodnight to Gabbie and go to my room, thinking of him as I fall asleep.
