~No one's POV
"Where are Lance and Brea!? They haven't come home all day!" Lance's mom frantically paced around the room.

"Janet, calm down. I'm getting a hold of Brea right now." Breanna's mother dialed her phone number. "Is she answering?" Janet asked.

"Shh. It's ringing." Brea's mom said. After a minute, she sighed and set her phone down. "No answer for the tenth time." She ran a hand through hr in frustration.

"Lance won't answer either. I might have to resort to my tracker." Lance's mom said casually. "Wait! You had a TRACKER on your son this entire time and you never said anything!?" Brea's mom said.

"Well, I forgot! I'm sorry, Nicole." She laughed and looked at the app on her phone.

"It says he's moving straight to the direction of the house... they're coming home!" She got excited. "What if he's not with Brea? I don't have a tracker in her." Brea's mom said sadly. "We'll find her. But I have a slight feeling they are coming home together."

~Brea~

My and Lance spent the night at his cousin's apartment because we were too afraid to face the police or go home.

"Thanks for letting us crash here, Meg. I owe ya one." Lance told his cousin, Meghan, as we were leaving.

"Anytime, cuz. I'll see ya later. Nice to meet your girlfriend!" She said as we walked down the steps. I was surprised at how Lance didn't comment on how I'm not his girlfriend. He instead blushed and kept walking.

We got in his car and had a silent and slow ride back to his house. Usually, he drives extremely fast but I know he doesn't want to go home.

We pulled up to his house and slowly got out of the car.

"I'm scared. What if they're mad?" I asked Lance. "They'll be more worried than mad since we've been gone for so long." He said.

"Okay, I hope you're right," I said and we began to take slow steps up to the front door.

Before I could even turn the doorknob, the door swung open and startled me. I fell backward but Lance caught me by my waist.

"Thanks," I said.

"where have you two been!!??" My mother yelled shoving us inside.

"We were worried sick! What if you got in trouble and went to jail!?" His mom asked.

"What if you got kidnapped!? Or... died?" My mom said. "I don't know what I'd do if I lost you, Brea. And I'm sure Janet feels the same towards Lance. Please, don't pull that on us again."

"We're sorry. The party got busted last night by a neighbor and we didn't know what to do. We ran away to McDonald's and spent the night a Meghan's." Lance explained.

"Well, I said you could have a party but I never said anything about it getting BUSTED. Lance, Brea, go to your rooms. You're grounded, Lance." His mom said.

"You're grounded too, Breanna." My mom said as I walked up the stairs.

I walked into my room and Lance walked into his.

I sat on my bed staring into space until I finally got up.

I walked out of my room and walked into Lance's room. "Hey, got a minute?" I asked peeking into the room.

He was sitting there strumming on his guitar. "Yeah. Come in." He said and I walked in closing the door behind me.

"So, I wanted to ask you about last night. What were you going to say?" I asked.

"Oh, that? I was just saying, I pulled you in there to tell you that... I like you, Brea. And I really want you to be my girlfriend. I've changed. I've really changed my ways. I don't want to be a fuckboy anymore. I want a girlfriend that I really love and... I love you. So what do you say?" He confessed.

"I umm... I would say-"

"BREANNA NICOLE YDE, WHERE ARE YOU!?" I heard my mother yell from the hall.

"Gotta go!" I rushed out of his room.

"WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN THERE?" She asked. "N-nothing." I stuttered.

"Better get back in your room RIGHT NOW. You're grounded for the entire weekend!" She said and I made my way to my room.

I spent the whole weekend in the room, not allowed to come out. I only came out to eat and take a shower. Lance was also stuck in his room and we weren't allowed to talk to each other.

Cree threw a party this weekend and I really wanted to go because she got my favorite band to play there, but of course, the condition I'm in prevents me from going.

Now it's Sunday and it's my very last day of being grounded. Trust me, when your a senior and you're grounded for the weekend, it's the worst because you miss all the drama and the parties.

I still have to tell Lance how I feel since he likes me. I feel so bad for leaving him hanging all weekend. We got our technology taken away for the weekend so I couldn't even text him or call.

I spent my Sunday doing my laundry and reading. Yes, that's the only thing I could do! READ!!!! But after finishing that book, I feel a slight bit smarter...

When it was bedtime, my mom came in.

"Hey, Brea." She sat on my bed. "Hey." I grouched. "I'm sorry you had to go through being grounded the whole weekend. But I just talked to Lance and he told me he tried to tell you he liked you. How'd that go?" She asked.

"He told me he liked me and asked me out and when I was trying to answer, you started yelling my name so I had to leave." I rolled my eyes. "Well do you like him?" My mom asked. "I don't know! Yes. Yea, I do. But I have to wait till tomorrow to tell him.

"I could tell me for you." She said with a smile. "No thanks, mom. I'd rather tell him myself so he knows I really feel that way." I said and she smiled widely.

"That's my baby girl." She kissed my forehead. "Alright, get to bed and I'll see you in the morning." She said and left my room.

I drifted off to sleep.
