Emma POV

I looked around to make sure nobody was looking than I ran into a bush.

I kept running through until I reached the edge with a sidewalk and the road.

But luckily I saw another bush across on the other side of the road.

I sniffed the air, a family was having a cookout.

I started walking towards it, but stopped.
'Come on, not now.'

I continued on my mission.

I ran in the road, but I completely forgot about looking both ways.

A car streaked hitting the break.

I barked trying to scream NO.

Luckily the car stopped right before it hit her.

But that got the other handlers attention and they noticed what I was looking at, or in other words who I was looking at.

I made it to the other side of the road now, and I'm now catching my breath from my speeding heart.

A starting driving towards me.
It was a truck that worked at the pound.

My adrenaline was back and I ran again.

I ran around the corner.
There was to kids walking down the path.

"Where do you think he went?" Jacob asked

"For the 500th time, I don't know." Aaron said.

"Yeah, let's just get back to club so we can help Emily with her homework."

"Hey, is that a golden retriever?" Asked Jacob.

"Sh-she's being followed." Aaron said.

"Then let's help her."

They called her towards them.

They picked her up and slipped her into there backpack.

"She like a baby and she can fit into my bag." Said Aaron.

"Sssh."

The vehicle drove past them.

"Let's get back to the clubhouse."

The kids called me towards them. I walked to them they picked me up and put my into there bag.

They said there going to there ''clubhouse''

I slipped my head out of the bag.
I was about to leave and run away but stopped when a sign said Ranch Road and we were at a house numbered 246.

They walked into the backyard where there was some kind of shed. They opened the door and I saw the same girl who bloke into the building before.
