I have suffered a million heart beats

And yet

Time cannot tear me apart.

I have suffered my share of heartbreaks

And yet

I still stand.

I have suffered defeat

And yet

I have won

I have suffered voiceless and alone

And yet

And yet

I have suffered

More than you can know

More than you can see

My suffrage is my baggage to bear

And yet

The weight is not all mine

Your suffrage is your baggage to bear

And yet

I bear it with you

Passion

I have suffered passion

I have suffered hate and love

And yet

Like a flower,

My heart still beats,

My heart still breaks,

My heart still grows,

My heart still blooms.
