Chapter 12

"Going somewhere?" I heard the voice and I broke off from my thoughts to see Father standing before us.

Then I realized that the jet didn't take off making me frown and I glanced at Harsha to see him frowning at both of us.

"Yes! I told you, right?" I asked Father hoping he didn't get my plan.

"You are not going anywhere near that woman." He warned me and started instructing the pilot who is standing near to Father.

How did he get to know about our plan? I thought thinking about the people who knew and started calculating the person that could be behind this.

"That woman will never come to this place and you know well about it. So, both of you get down from this jet." He continued and suddenly Harsha stood up from his seat.

"You all lied to me. You all lied that she will be here." Harsha started shouting at both my Father and me.

"This is not the way for a prince to act." My father scolded him.

"I want my Mom." He screamed more.

"I told you to stay away, but you never listen do you?" I asked my Father and walked towards Harsha.

"We will go tomorrow." I said and he glanced up to stare at me.

"Where?" he asked, frowning.

"To your Mom and we will bring her back." I replied and he immediately hugged me.

"I know you wouldn't lie." He said, moving back and walked away happily.

"You can't bring her back here." My Father said, but I ignored him and walked away to make arrangements for the journey.

"Will you start this jet or shall I search for another pilot?" I asked staring at the Pilot and he immediately walked to his place while I turned to stare at Father.

"You may join our journey or get down from this jet." I said to which he fumed at me but started getting down.

"You will pay for this." That's all he warned before going away and I gestured the door to be closed.

"Now, Mom will return to us and we will be fine." Harsha said the moment I sat beside him.

What should I tell him? If it was before the phone call, I would have told him that she already started her life and so she will not return with us and we can do something to make you stay with her, but now I know that she may have to return with us if she is not happy.

"Yes! She will return with us." I said, nodding and she will have a life here with her son and I will support her in whatever she wishes but not as my wife.

I don't know what was I thinking to tie her life with mine when I don't have any romantic feelings towards her and now when it is clear that she too doesn't feel the same, then why should we both make our lives worse by forcing ourselves with something in which we don't have any interest.

We can become friends and take care of Harsha. This time, after knowing the emptiness because of Nicole's absence, I can't let that become a reality, no matter how much selfish I will be in other people's eyes.

"I need to know where she is staying." I asked the Doctor again, but he shook his head like he doesn't know.

Investigator still didn't send me the address and I am unable to contact him. But Harsha didn't want to wait anymore and I just reached the hospital to find out the address.

"Here she is." He said when we heard the knock on the door.

"Anne! They are here to meet Jhanvi. I couldn't find the address, but I thought you may have it." Doctor said, looking at the lady who entered the room.
