Ok this for those who have played the game of Mario Kart.

And for those who have not played any of the series that follows from the start of Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart Super Circuit to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, then I will educate you.

You see, the 'Banana Peel' is an item used to slow down your opponent and cause them to fall behind in a race. The more chances you have at stopping them with these items, the more likely you are to stay in 1st or cause the other to fall behind in ranking.

It is also used to get rid of balloons and coins in battle modes and more.

But that is mainly the gist of it.
