slamming the door behind you, you walked up the stairs and to the bedroom. you were pissed as hell and you felt like punching a wall.
a couple of tears escaped your eyes, you wiped them away from your cheeks with your hands and locked the door of the grey painted bedroom after you heard footsteps traveling up the stairs.
"y/n! baby, open the door." you heard him exclaim as he knocked on the off-white door.
"don't baby me, please, just leave me alone." your voice cracked as you spoke, trying your best not to cry or show sign of weakness.
you weren't going to let him know he hurt you, he shouldn't have the honor of knowing how much he hurt you.
"please, y/n. just listen to me." his forehead was pressed against the door, a tear almost leaving his eye.
"why did you do it?" at this point there was no hiding the fact that he had broken your heart, thinking about the moment over again made you start to sob.
"why did you do it, dacre?" you asked again a little lower this time, right after the first time.
"you know it was a mistake, i'm so sorry, it never went further than the kiss i swear."
"that's just it dacre," you sniffled "you never really loved me, did you?"
"what?! y/n/n i've loved you this whole time. i haven't stoped loving you, and i won't stop loving you. what happen was just a drunk mistake, you know how stupid i get when i'm drunk. please just open the door and we can talk about this, please. y/n, don't give up on us now. we've been through so much, you can't give up on it now. i know i won't, but please open the door babe."
you hesitated for a moment before deciding to get up from the bed and unlock the door.
he looked at you for a second, a millisecond even, before hugging you and whispering in your ear.
"i'm so, so sorry. words can't even express how sorry i am y/n." you didn't hug him back, in fact you pushed him away from you.
"was it worth it?" you asked, looking him straight in the eyes as you held back some tears. "was it worth this relationship?" you asked once more.
he shook his head, grabbing both of your hands in his and looking at you. "of course not. if i could, y/n, i swear to you i would go back and i would not have even gone out that night."
"i love you."
tears spilled out of your eyes, you turned away from looking into his eyes. you wished you could just let him go, not let him hurt you much. because you knew that from now on every time you looked at him you would think of the image you had seen all over twitter that evening, but you loved him to much to do that.
he shook his head again, as he released one of your hands from his and wiped away your tears.
"don't cry, i'm sorry baby. i'm really, really, really sorry." he said, spilling a few tears himself.
you let your other hand go from his grip, and you hugged him. he wrapped his arms around you, you placed your head on his chest.
"you get one more chance, dacre. no more than that." you sniffle.
"and i promise i won't blow it." he said as he held you tighter, and closer to him."
you smiled to yourself, closing your eyes and just enjoying the comfort while listening to his heartbeat. man, did you love everything about this guy. his athletic body, his sexy accent, his deep set, blue eyes, his dark brown, soft hair, his personality. just everything about him made you love him even more everyday. 'is that even healthy?' you thought to yourself slightly smiling again.
"if it makes you feel any better, your a way better kisser. plus she kind of tasted like onion rings."
you pulled away from him, and looked up at him and chuckled along with him. he leaned down and kissed you, you kissed him back feeling him smile into the kiss.
