Ch. 6 Oh, no

"Kouyo stop pulling me!" Kura shouted once more as they strode through the halls with doors that lead into rooms on both sides to the end. "Whoa." Kouyo gazed in awe, never been into anyone's home before. After exiting out the building, they can hear music from the backyard as they came out.

This strange music Kura never heard before sending this sense of uncertainty to her, she can't identify this feeling or put it into words. Too out of place for her mind to propel it in a strange world she has never been before.

"Wow, you sure can hear the music," Goku said about the music. "Of course, that's why it's called a party." Vegeta says to Goku."Remember we can't stay for long." He said in a whisper voice and looks at Bulma, making sure she's wasn't listening. Kura heard this and looks directly at the two Saiyans while they weren't looking, unaware of her.

How low they're speaking, Kura can still hear their quiet conversation from where she was, unlike the rest, her absolute hearing is twice as powerful than any normal human's which they can't detect further ranges as her.

*Training for the tournament, huh? Well, this will be interesting. Wonder how strong they are against universe 6 fighters.*

While Still attach to Kouyo, she compliments Bulma's place. "Ms. Bulma your home is so big and the scenery here is so beautiful!" Kouyo said with enlightenment still clung to her protector closely as Kura groaned.

*It's helpless...* Kura thought while Bulma smiles at Kouyo. "Awe, thanks Kouyo, but you haven't seen the best part about Earth yet!"

"Really?!"

"Oh yeah, there's a ton of amazing things I think you'll like Kouyo. Oh! You to Kura. " Goku replied, walking ahead with Vegeta trailing behind him. "Oh, sure there is." He muttered crossing his arms.

"See, Kura!" Kouyo exclaims indicatively. "Earth is full of surprises we must discover its wonders together!" She said raising her fist.

"I know I know you said that before like an hour ago and would you mind letting me go now?" She informs Kouyo. "Huh?" Kouyo took notice and stop a few steps leasing Kura from her grasp.

"Oh, Sorry..." Kouyo said smiling a bit embarrassed, then looks up at her. "Kura, can you at least try to be happy? You know, enjoy this precious moment?"

"As your protector, I can't show any lack of motivation. It's my duty protecting you and advice you not to get too comfortable here. Never know-"

"Oh relax Kura," Bulma said as she interrupts her. "No one's gonna hurt anybody here trust me, it's a party and try to have fun, okay?" She assures Kura with a smile then waves her and Kouyo over to join the party with her. "See? I trust Ms. Bulma, why can't you?" Kouyo looks at Kura sadly before joining Bulma and the others.

Leaving her protector where she stood, Kura watches Kouyo approach the party full with total strangers this worries her deeply. Kouyo's innocence and kindness make her an easy target for predators to use that and take their advantage on her.

The biggest reason why she's protecting her, because sometimes wonder can be very dangerous and untrustworthy of those you find and meet but Kura, she stood alone with it all before, never forgotten how that pain felt, destroying her inside, leaving a scar in her heart. Always reminding her every day not to let her guard down again. For Kouyo's sake, she doesn't want her precious friend to go through that.
