prologue...

From Writers P.O.V.

The two sisters cried in eachothers arms, as they saw their father lying in the ground and their mother with a drink in her hand. They both knew that when they got home it would start again. The constant arguing, and the screaming. The emotional and physical abuse of their mother screaming it was all their fault.

   Ever since their father went away on a buisness trip 3 weeks ago this is how it had been, then after he was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his hotel room... it got worse. Their mother was always drinking and crying. She had quit her job and started throwing things when she was angry, a few punches thrown here and there tords Abby and Brittany. They didn't know what to do of course.. this was all new.

   Not the hitting, the two had experienced that during school. Never from their mother though.

 

   One Night the two decided that they would leave, with the 26 grand they had saved up in their rooms, from their collage fun, and just change they had collected. They made a run for it. Hoped on a plane to the UK just a week after secretly getting their passports.. hiding this from their mother of course.

  Now here they were 2 months after their fathers death. Both with part time jobs and a nice house in a huge neighborhood from the money they had saved.. they were trying to make it on their own in this world. They didn't know how, but they knew they had to make it work.
