Engaged

I wake up next to him. I'm still wearing the engagement ring. It's so beautiful. My husband-to-be wakes up.

"Good morning sweetheart. Enjoying your ring?" he teases.

"Oh hush darling. I think it's beautiful." I tease back. We both laugh.

"Thanksgiving is next week. Shall we tell them then?" he says.

"We shall." I say.

Thanksgiving Day

"We have an announcement to make." says Jake.

Everyone turns their heads.

"We're getting married." we both say in unison. Both the families cheer and congradulate us.

"To many years!" I toast.

"TO MANY YEARS!" they say.

Alot of kids want to see my ring and my mother comes over to talk to me.

"Hannah, I am so proud of you!" she smiles and I smile back. We hug eachother.

"I can't wait to see you in white at that alter." she says. She leaves.

Then my friend Anna comes. I know it's weird. Hannah and Anna. It worked out really strange.

"Before you ask. You are my Maid of Honor." I say.

"Yay!" she squeals and we talk for hours.
