Chapter 2

Sopia P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the sun peeping through the curtains. I groan and place my feet on the ground and immeditly pull away as the coldness runs through my vains. I walk outside and reliase it is quite warm. I go to my duffle bag and grab my floral dress with white converses and some undergarments and headed towards the shower. I blow dried my hair and placed light foundation and mascara on my olive skin, after deciding I looked okay, I grabbed my duffle bag, Setted the bed, grab my phone & left the key on the table and walk down towards my car.

Chucking my duffle bag in my trunk and getting settled in my seat I placed the car in reverse and drove down the streets. I ended up pulling over in a near by cafe after hearing my stomach grumble a few times. I got myself a coffee and a cheese and bacon roll and pulled onto the highway and headed to Lakeawia, errh I still shudderd at the name of it. Luckly its only 30 minutes away so I can get there in no time flat. I pulled onto the highway for a bit until I went past the county line. I looked at my GPS saying I had 15 minutes left until I would arrive at Lakeawia. By the way I am Sopia Grace, I am 16-17 years of age and in year 11 of high school.

15 minutes passed and I found the 'Welcome To Lakewia' sign and as I drove downtown it didn't seem that bad. I took a little looksie before I headed to my new place to call home. They had a massive beach and a pool right next door and a massive mall next to a skate park and some run down stores. I found a primary school that Penny would go to and the high school I would attend and of course I start tomorrow thanks dad. I drove down a couple of streets till I found 18 elm street. I know! of that freddy krougar movie erh. I parked in the driveway looking at my house which was huge and amazing. I was litterly gob smaked when I saw it. It looked nothing like the photos. There was a white fence line around the front yard and back yard. Out the front was a driveway with three pedestals which lead to the door with red flowers up the cream brick house and around the back was a pool and a tennis net for my parents whom happen to be obbssed with tennis. Inside, you would walk into the living room with a fire place and a white longe which leads into the kitchen with white marble benches which happened to blend with the wood floor quite nicely. The dining table was next with six red chairs and two red and white tennis rackets hanging on the wall. The stairs were white railed and my room was to the right as my sister tried to explain, right next to hers.

I walked in and my mouth went agape. It had red walls and a white rug on the floor. A king sized bed to the side with a Sopia spelled above. I had my own bathroom with a red floor mat and a red bar of soap (My parents love the color red) a toilet and a shower where in hear with another door (inside the bathroom) which lead to my cupbored which I could fit horses in. After inspecting the rest of everyones room. I grabbed my 3 suitcases which had my clothes inside and started to unpack them in my wardrobe. I then grabbed some things I wanted to bring with me like my lamp, my school bag, my books, sheets and what not and placed them nicely in my room. I looked outside and found Penny in the pool and my parents playing tennis. I walked in my closet and grabbed a red with white pokadot bikini and went into my bathroom and got changed. I walked outside and hugged my parents for probably the millionth time and hopped into the spa.

I guess Lakeawia isn't so bad after all! My mum only said that in winter it gets below 1* degrees which I would probably never get used too. I stayed in the spa for probably 15 minutes before hopping out and having a shower. I just got dressed in the same floral dress and white converes I had on before before. I looked at my school uniform that my dad placed on the bed. It was a blouse shirt colour blue with a marron outline with a blue and marron checked skirt with black flats. It didn't look that bad. I grabbed my phone and walked out side of my room and at the wrong timing because Penny happened to be running and crashed straight into me and my phone went flying and smashed on the wood floor. It was a cheap phone but it was my phone. My sister ran into her room and locked the door while I sat there looking at the shadderd phone. I cleaned it up and went downstairs into the kitchen where my father was making himself a fresh juice and my mother on the phone in the living room. I told dad about the inciddent and he said he would speak to penny about it and he gave me $800 so I could buy a new phone. My dad went upsairs and I headed to the mall in search of a new phone.
