Who to trust

This is exactly what I mean.I can't trust anybody now a days and to think!I almost trusted him!Now he's here biting my sisters lip!

"...Soda?..."Pony asked,in shock himself.I can't say this was unusual for Soda but I can't say it's usual either.I don't know him...so what can I say?

Cat pulled away and looked down.

"I'm gonna go now"She said and walked past me,I was to furious to stop her.I walked right up to Soda and smacked him across the cheek.Call me crazy but I think he deserved it.

"SODAPOP CURTIS!I TRUSTED YOU!I THOUGHT YOU WHERE DIFFERENT!I THOUGHT OF ALL PEOPLE I COULD TRUST YOU!I WAS THINKING THAT MAYBE YOUR OKAY!BUT YOU PROVED ME WRONG!EVERYONE PROVES ME WRONG!"I took a breath.

"And to think you where the one person I trusted"I said coldly and ran out of the store.

"JENNY!WAIT!"Pony and Soda yelled behind me.I know I shouldn't be mad at Pony but I can't help it.Imagine having trust issues and the one person you trusted kissed your little sister.I sighed and ran into this one place called 'Dingo'.I walked in,hoping there wouldn't be any Socs.

"Listen, Jenny I-"I couldn't see him but I knew it was Soda.

"I don't want to know Soda"I said

"Come on Je-"He was cut off.

"Leave the broad alone"a guy said,I was suprised,he was my age but wasn't afraid of Soda.

"What are you gonna do about it Douglass?"Soda asked looking at some dude named Dougless.

"Well,why don't we ask her?"Dougness asked,there goes the names again.

"Dougless"I say getting it right.Pony looked at me hurt.I looked away.

"Come with me"he smiled.I didn't.

"He said go with him"the guy standing next to him said quietly to me.

"No"I said even though this lion-looking guy looked friendly he looked like he meant buissness.They smiled at me and shoved me and took me.I didn't say anything because they said they would hurt me if I did.

When we got in the car I yelled.

"SODAPOP!PONYBOY!HELP!"I cried,this was my fault after all.I saw Soda and Pony chasing after me when someone smacked my cheek roughly.

"Shut up!"he said

"Mark,Mark not to hard"Dougless said

"Why are you doing this?" I cried.

"Listen,I'm Bryon and this is Mark"He said I started to open the door.

"No"Mark said

"Why?"I asked.

"Why are you doing this but not letting me get out the door?"I asked

"Listen we don't want to hu-"He started

"SHUT UP!"Soda yelled and punched him in the face.

"P-pony?"I asked running into his arms.He wrapped his arms around me and I hugged back looking into his eyes as I cried.He was warm and I felt safe with him. My eyes where bloodshot.I brought my hand to his cheek.

"You've proved me wrong Ponyboy Curtis...you have my trust."I smiled weakly at him.Soda came back bruised and beat up.

"Oh Soda I'm so sorry,I'm soo soo sorry I-"Soda put his hand up to my lips.

"Do you trust me now?"he asked,hope present in his voice.

"How could I say no?"I asked.A smile spread across his face.

"Let's get you home"I said to Sodapop.We walked to their house and I felt like I was forgetting something but I can't remember what.

"Pony...I feel like I'm forgetting something but I can't remember what..."I said.Soda looked like he was looking at something intently.

"What is it Soda?"I asked

He shook his head.

"Nothing"he said

"Oh"I said

"Well...we better be off to sleep."Soda said

"Pony!"I said immediately realizing I let Cat walk off.

"What?"He asked

"C-Cat!"I said

"We'll get her in the morning,go to sleep"Pony said.

"No"I said and went for the door.

"It's not safe and I'm not letting you go out to get hurt"he said

"Shhhh...go to sleep"Pony said

"No!Pony I-"I started but he threw his arms around me.

"Shh...relax baby girl...relax"he whispered and I obeyed,witch is unusual for me.I fell asleep in his arms.

Pony's Pov

"Shhh...relax baby girl...relax"I whispered and she did.I felt her loosten up in my arms.Her beating heartbeat turned steady.I picked her up and carried her to the room.I layed her down and took her shoes off.I gently kissed her cheek and lied down next to her and fell asleep.
