He grabbed his mask but didn't take it off. He fell onto your bed and groaned because you knew. "Peter??" You ask as he lays there helpless. "Ugh. Y/n I'm so sorry about all this."
"Sorry about what?" You say. "I shouldn't have come to find you, Karen said you wouldn't tell anyone. It was completely ZERO PERCENT!" He exclaims as he spreads out on your bed. You stand up knowing he won't hurt you.
You hear a door open and close downstairs, followed by the sound of rustling bags. You quickly look at Peter who didn't seem to notice. "UGH WHY AM I SO STUPID?!" Peter yelled standing up. "SHHH!!!!" You quickly say putting your hand over what you assume is his mouth because he's wearing a mask. "Honey?? Y/n?? Is that you??" You hear your mom yell. "You have to get out of here Peter! Go!" You whisper while pointing to the open window. He nodded and slowly crept out.
You hear the sound of your mom walking up stairs. "OH CRAP!" You yell into your mind. You see a book on your desk labeled "The Science of Biology". You quickly flip to some random page and pretend you've been studying. Your mom opens the door right as Peter closes the window.
Your mom looked at the window and went to examine it. "What was that?" She says. "GUH- it's probably just the wind!" You say trying to distract her because you knew Peter was below the window still. He had to wait until your mom left otherwise he might make a noise and get caught.
"Did you say something about being stupid?" M/N says looking back towards you. "Huh? OH YEAH! I uh- just um- h-had to uh. I have a test for um... biology! This Friday. Heh heh heh! Better study" you say giving an awkward laugh. "Hm. You seem off. Are you okay?" M/n asks.
You see this as an opportunity to lie, in a way that mothers can't detect. "Ya..." you say pretending to be bummed. "Well cmon y/n you can tell me." She says giving you a comforting hug.
"It's just... I have a test for biology on Friday and I'm going to fail... I'm so stupid, I don't understand any of it..." you say pulling it off. "Oh y/n.. you poor thing! I can't bear to see you like this. Hey, tomorrow let's go to the spa Okay? Then you can come home and study before the test, got it?" She says in a very calm and caring voice. "Okay mom.." I say as I can't help but smile.
"That's the spirit! Anyways you should get to bed, it's midnight already. And you need some rest. Go on and go to bed now." She says closing the book. "Goodnight mom!" I say smiling. "Goodnight my baby girl!" She replied as she kissed you on the forehead.
She closed the door and you waited to hear here go downstairs and into another room. You breath out as if you've been holding your breath. Then you flinch as you hear a smack on the window.
You can walk over to the window and open the blinds to see Peter- I mean Spider-Man, flinging away quickly. You noticed something in the corner of your eye. It's a sticky note with Peter's number on it and in his adorable sloppy handwriting, "Text me sometime! :D"
You smiled and opened the window taking the note inside. You stared at it and blushed really hard. You smiled and hugged it as you sat on your bed. You realized that Peter himSELF was laying on it earlier. You lay down and sniff in a little.
It smelled just like him and at that moment, you were the happiest person in the world.
