-Y/n's POV-
I woke up at the sound of my alarm. I groaned and lazily place my hand on top of my alarm so it can stop the annoying noise. I stood up from my comfy bed and walked towards my bathroom. After I did my morning routine, I changed in my school uniform and went downstairs.
I grabbed an apple from the kitchen counter and exit our front door. My mom isn't here because she went to the grocery so we can have dinner later. I inhaled all the fresh air early in the morning while humming a song.
"Nice humming." I flinched at the sudden unknown voice. I opened my eyes and widened them only to see Jimin in front of me. Yeah the one and only PARK JIMIN!
"Oh, uh, thanks." I replied awkwardly while looking around me obviously avoiding his gaze on me.
"I guess we're neighbor hoods," He pointed his house opposite of mines. Then he let out a chuckle.
"So you wanna go together to school?" He asked.
"Uh, sure." I shrug. Telling myself it would be fine. I mean like it's just a simple walk, right? What could go wrong?
A few moments later, we stopped at the bus stop. I can't help but to start interacting to my music and hum while rocking my shoes back and forth as we were waiting for the next bus to arrive. Suddenly, I couldn't hear any music in my left ear. I turned around to see Jimin wearing the other earphone on his right ear while he was also humming to the song.
My heart skipped a beat and I feel my face heated up. I immediately put my gaze on the ground.
-Jimin's POV-
A few moments of walking, we stopped at the bus stop. I can hear Y/n hum while rocking her shoes back and forth. I smirked and took her left earphone and put it on my right ear.
She turned around to see and at the corner of my eye, I can see her blush and she immediately looked down to hide her face. Hmm.. Seems like this is gonna be easy.
Flashback of yesterday
I was on the couch sitting upside down. "I'm bored!" I said out loud, frustrated. Jungkook stopped what he was doing and faced me with 'what chu want bruh' look.
"Can we do something that both of us can do?" I asked him, finally sitting up properly. I looked at Jungkook who is seated next to me. He started thinking for a minute.
"How about we do a bet?" He smirked.
"Sure, what is it?" I shrugged it off, as if it is an easy bet.
"Okay. You try and get that Y/n girl and be her boyfriend, then break her heart," He said as his smirk grew wider.
"I'll give you one week." He added, then looked back at his phone.
"Pffft. You know I do that every week, Jungkook." I retarted while rolling my eyes.
"You wanted to do something, so I gave you a task hyung." He shrugged and stood up, then went to the kitchen, probably gonna eat again.
"Wait! What if I lose?!" I screamed, enough for him to hear from the kitchen.
"Then you're going to buy drinks for me and only me for two weeks!" He shouted back.
He came back to the living room with a cup of hot ramen in his hands.
"But what if I win?" I asked.
"Then I'll buy you drinks for two weeks" He replied bluntly, while scrolling his instagram feed on his phone.
"Okay. This will be an easy one since she's a new transferee in the school." I mumbled to myself as I smirk.
End of flashback
After a few minutes of waiting, the bus finally arrived and we hopped in together.
We sat down in one of the vacant seats. As I was looking for something in my bag, I can feel a heavy weigh on my right shoulder.
I looked to my left and saw Y/n had already fallen asleep. I smiled at her angelic face. Damn, I didn't know she was this beautiful.
Then suddenly my heart started beating fast. I mentally slapped my face. No. You can't fall for her idiot. I thought as I shake my head.
-Y/n's POV-
I woke up, just in time as we reached our stop in front of the school. I try and lift my head on someone else's shoulder. WAIT. Someone else's SHOULDER?! WHAT THE-
As I try and lift my head, I struggle at the weigh of a person's head at the side of me. I soon realized that someone had rested their head on top of mine.
I groaned. Suddenly that person flinched and released his head on top of mine. Finally I can lift my head up. Only noticing that Jimin was the person I layed my head on.
"Aigoo, Y/n! Are you okay?" He said. I nodded happily with a smile. I miss you Jimin, but what happen? Soon my expression changed into a frown.
"Come on, let's go to school. It's getting late."I said as I grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the bus with me. I took a glance at my clock and widened my eyes.
7:50. Omo we're going to get in trouble when we're late. I was so busy at the situation that I didn't let go of Jimin's hands until we stopped at our classroom door.
"Uhh, Y/n, you can let go now," He chuckled. I nodded and blushed. Why am I blushing? It's normal for us to hold hands since we were best friends before, right?
"You can go in first," I said while smiling softly at him.
"No, ladies first." He snickered while gesturing his hands for me to go in first.
"Okay, if that's what you want." I giggled cutely while I slowly entered the classroom.
As I entered the classroom, there was only few students sitting. I bowed at them. They all eyed me as I pass through the empty seats going to my chair beside Lisa.
"Psst. Hey, why is the classroom empty?" I whispered to Lisa.
"The teacher's late, but there was a sub-teacher. Luckily she went to the bathroom and you didn't get caught by being late. Tsk tsk tsk." She replied while shaking her head.
A few minutes later, Jimin came in the class and walked to his seat with a blank expression plastered on his face.
Not long after, the teacher came in with a new student. He seems familiar to me.
Flashback
-Y/n's POV-
I happily skipped through the hallways of the hospital, excited to meet Taetae outside the building. I pressed the down button of the elevator. I waited for a few minutes until I heard a ding. The elevator doors began to open slowly. I can see someone inside in a wheelchair. As the elevator door open, I suddenly fell unto the ground while tears streaming down my face as I cover my mouth.
I can't believe this.
Is this a dream?
I can't believe at the painful sight in front of me.
Taehyung is right there smiling at me weakly as some part of his hair is gone.
