Malia's POV
I put my hand softly on my forehead. My head was still pounding, the medicine didn't seem to help my headache. Andy was to my right, we were walking to fourth period because we had missed third period, being in the nurses office for so long. She saw me grab my forehead, she gave me a look of concern, a look of worry. "You okay?" I stopped right in the middle of the hallway, and she stopped too. We were looking right at each other, into each-others eyes. Her ocean blue eyes are so beautiful...
"Yeah, I'm fine. My head just hurts a little." Towards the end, my voice became softer, I wasn't completely lying. I gave her a reassuring smile, so she would drop the subject. I just want to get to class so I can sit down, every step I take, I get a sharp pain in my head.
Andy didn't seem convinced, but she didn't say anything. We just kept walking to our World History classroom. It was yet, another class we had together. The only classes I didn't have with her was third period, which was Spanish, and sixth period, which was Math, my last class of the day.
We finally got to our classroom, I let Andy drag me to the seat next to her, knowing she would want me next to her. I smiled at the thought, it made me feel good, knowing she was my first friend here and she already acted like we were best friends, but then I had this random thought pop into my head, I wanted to be more than just best friends with her... I shook that thought out of my mind when our teacher starting talking about the first world war, I think...
I didn't want to pay attention, like, at all. I have been out of it all day, not really in the mood to "learn" anything. I just kept thinking about Andy all day, and I figured I should be mad at her for hitting a volleyball at my face, really hard, but I couldn't. I knew she felt really bad that it hit me, but it showed me just how competitive she really is, now I know never to get on her bad side.
The 45 minutes seemed to drag along, slowly. Almost the whole time Andy and I tried to make each other laugh by doing stupid things like make funny faces at each other, or whispering things hoping it would make the other laugh. At one point, I made this face where I used my pointer fingers to pull down the skin under my eyes, and put my thumbs into the sides of my mouth and pulling my thumbs up to meet my pointer fingers. Andy laughed so hard she fell off her chair, laughing on the ground clutching her stomach, looking like she was about to die from laughing so hard. Everyone, I mean everyone, looked at her, and started bursting out laughing, well everyone other then our bitchy teacher Mr. Locht. He just gave Andy a dirty look the whole team. He would've given her detention if the bell hadn't rung, about a minute after her falling onto the ground.
She picked herself up quickly, grabbing all of her shit off her desk, and grabbed my arm. We were the first ones out of class, even though we sat across the room from the door. Her hand had slid down my arm a bit, now holding my hand. Oh how I loved her holding my hand. I finally spoke up, as we were bolting down the hallway to the main doors. "Wh-where are we g-going?" Of course I stuttered, I always stuttered when I was nervous.
I heard her giggle and say, "Going to get something to eat dummy." Oh yeah, it's lunch time. I shrugged it off and let her practically drag me across the ground, I could not keep up with her.
When we got to the parking lot, my jaw practically hit the ground when I saw her unlock her car. It was a 2012 Dodge Challenger, it was a glossy white with two light blue stripes down the middle. The car looked brand new, no scratches, no dents, no dirt. Andy saw my mouth open, smirked and said,
"Hun, you might want to close your mouth, I think you're drooling." We both started laughing in sync. I couldn't help but blush, my face, neck, and ears glowing a deep red. As she started climbing into her gorgeous car, I was quite jealous.
