Diohr's pov.

I can't fight it any longer. Certain things just never go away no matter how hard you try.

"And that is why it is a very good...... "

It's been a week now since I saw her in Catherine's office, and I keep replaying her face in my mind. I simply can't forget her. I think I might.........

"Sir.....?!"
"Mr Bilick.....!!!

"I totally agree."i replied to the voice that was interrupting my thoughts.

"We'll call you." I finished as I stood up from my seat and exited the room leaving most of the other participants in shock.
I normally don't show such positive reactions to presentations. But since I saw her again I haven't been able to concentrate on anything.

I can't work in this state of mind, not with her in my head.  I have to fix this and I know a certain couple that will be ideal. Glenn and Tasha.

I rush into my office straight for my phone and dial Glenn's number but I get no response.

His cell is switched off.  That idiot I call my best friend has probably switched of their phones so no one can interrupt their vacation. Guess am on my own.
***************

This is the dumbest idea I have ever had. I can't believe I invited Catherine to lunch and got her to bring her personal assistant because this was purely for business or so I said.

I sat there at the most expensive and luxurious restaurant in London, waiting for Catherine's arrival. I then spot her slim and curvy body come in through the door. She is ravishing as usual in her dark blue business suit. I watched as she gracefully walked to my side and placed her lips on my cheek giving me a kiss there before taking the seat next to mine.
"What was urgent enough to make you leave your precious tower at his hour?" She asked with a smirk forming on her lips.
"Its lunch time isn't it?" I replied plainly.
"And when have you ever chosen food over work?" She added.
Her many questions had begun irritating me so I decided to find out why the person I wanted to see was not with her.
"And where is your assistant?" I demanded this time in my Boss tone.

My new tone pulled out the exact reaction I wanted as she straightened up in her seat and drew back the hand she was using to draw rings around the back of my palm.
"She had some work to deal with." She replies before giving the waiter her order.
"And you sir?..." Requested the waiter. "I have suddenly lost my appetite." I replied. As I turned  to hand him the menu my eyes met with a pair of impeccable turquoise eyes.
"Guess am hungrier than I thought" I added feeling my mood liven up upon her arrival. "I'll have the pasta special."

During the entire meal and discussion i felt like I was  climbing up a wall with weights attached to my feet.

I couldn't stop staring at her, while she dished out accounting knowledge. She was clearly at genius level intelligence. I noticed even Catherine was taken aback by her skill. Every time I tried to ask Hedrine any discussion that didn't concern work, she gave very little away in short bland answers while on the other hand Catherine was looking for every opportunity to give lectures on her social life.
"I have to go now" I said interrupting one of Catherine's lectures on her self. "I knew it was too good to last" Catherine replied. Disappointment lacing her features.
"But I'll like Miss kesler to pass by my tower this evening to continue this meeting." I suggested letting out a polite smile.

"I could come myself" Catherine offered.
" I can't let you work that hard. What will your dad say if he learned that I let you work to the bone like that." I said lacing my voice with concern. "I think your assistant will do" I added as I turned to face Hedrine.

I saw her and Catherine look at each other before before Catherine gave her a small nod.
"Okay sir.  I'll be there." She replied in plain professionalism and I couldn't find any emotions on her face.
She has always been a challenge.

"Good then see you at 8pm" I finished and let out a determined smirk in her direction as I paid the bill and walked away toward the exit.

************

In my car I received a call from my most trusted employee and right hand man Anton.
" Sir we have a problem" he said as soon as I answered his call. This is classic Anton never was he a fan of salutations.
" What is it?!" I replied worried because Anton is in charge of my transactions that aren't exactly safe or legal for that matter.
"The black market vendors have sworn loyalty to Josh Russell and refuse to sell anything to anyone related in anyway  to the Bilicks."

"And what makes you think he knows my list of employees?" I questioned.
" That is exactly why I called the is a spy in your Empire that is feeding the Russells with info on you" He finished.
" That is impossible I examined details of any and every one of my employees by myself.  How do you know the is a spy?"
"I have a loyal friend who is a member of the black market elites. He informed me of it and also told me that the shared domination of the market by the Russells and the Bilicks was because they are the two strongest business empires on the globe but now that rumors are spreading of the Russells success in infiltrating your camp. It means they have and upper hand and the black Market elites will only invest with the absolute best. That is why they declared dealing with the Bilicks illegal." He explained.

" I have had a spy at the Helm of the Russells empire for some time now but never did I imagine she would be this vital." I informed Anton who let out a laugh as if the information he just heard was the voice of an Angel.
"Boss you always have a plan. It's reassuring when you know that your in alliance with a Genius." He said triumphantly.

"Ok. Just keep the few vendors that are loyal to us. And I'll handle the Market elites." I ordered.
"Ok boss." He replied
"And Anton don't forget that I Never lose" I finished and ended the call.

Drine's Pov.

I can't believe he actually requested me at his tower. He's found a way to get us to talk and he was so professional that anyone believe it was only for business. Problem is I'm not anyone.

How does he even have the guts to request my presence after all he did to me.  Yh I know holding on to a  grudge I had in college is is being fucking childish but those were the hardest years of my life and he made them worse. He has to suffer as well. So as long as I remain a marmalade obsessed freak I'll hate him in order words I'll hate him for life. He has no idea on who he invited into his life.

A/N: who do you think is the spy in the Bilick Empire. What do you think will happen when Diohr and Drine are in a room all alone...?? 😏

Stay tuned to find out......
