SARAH'S POV:
"Here is your room number and room key, along with the textbooks you will need for the year. Do you have any questions?"
"No I think I got it all, thanks!" I say to the lady as I'm leaving orientation. I ended up being about a half an hour late, but I don't think I missed too much.
As I'm walking along the sidewalk I try to take in as much as I can.
Students all around me are sitting on blankets in the park with their friends, just chatting about nothing important.
To my left is a large, beautiful stone building. There are chairs and tables outside with empty cups on some. I look closer and see a small green sign with a lady on the front. It says Starbucks Coffee. I smile to myself and silently thank god they have one.
To my right I see another similar looking stone building. It has grand steps that lead up to tall, wooden doors. An old sign in the front says Stanford University Community Library. Well at least I know where that is now.
And in front of me is a huge flower garden in the center of campus, made up of yellow, white, and red flowers. They are perfectly alined together so that it makes the shape of an S in the center, which makes it look even more beautiful. Gosh, this campus is so beautiful!
I'm shaken out of my thoughts by the feeling of falling back and landing on my butt.
"Im so sorry!" I say instantly. I look forward to see who I collided with and lock eyes with a pair of intensely bright blue ones. I know those eyes.
That's Hayes Grier.
The internet famous sensation from Magcon (and 26mgmt) who has millions of followers, along with millions of girls who chase after him hoping to be his girlfriend. I didn't know he was coming to this college.
He looks at me with a mix of frustration and anger.
"Watch where you're going next time!" He spat and quickly got up. He starts walking off with his group of friends when I hear him say, "Annoying bitch."
I sat there for a few seconds in disbelief. How could someone be so rude to a person after just meeting them? I'm trying not to let his words get to me, but I can feel my cheeks getting hot and my vision blurs.
I'm such an emotional person.
I blink it off and pick up my textbooks that are now laying all over the ground. On the top of one of them is a smudge mark that looks like a Vans shoe. Great.

I take out the key that is in my hoodie pocket and unlock the door. Instantly I am overwhelmed by the scent of perfume in the room, and start coughing.
When I bend down to get water from my purse, a pair of black combat boots comes up to me.
"Hi, I'm Faith," the girl says and puts her hand down. I lift mine up and we shake hands. "Sarah."
Faith has light blonde hair with highlights of red in it, a nose ring, and about five piercings on each ear. She is wearing a black cropped shirt with high denim waisted shorts, and has a little tattoo on her wrist. It's a skull with roses coming out of its eyes, and under that it says
"Can we lose our minds and call it love for the last time?"
As I'm rolling my suitcase in, I can see she already made herself comfortable. Posters of some metal rock bands are hung up on every wall, and music is blaring at top volume.
"Could you turn that down a little?" I ask awkwardly. I've had a long morning and am not in the mood.
"Oh yeah, sure," she says and throws me a confused look. I then started unpacking everything. I took out my clothes, my laptop, and my posters of 5 Seconds Of Summer. I hung each one up in what very little room she left me, and admired them when I was finished.
Faith started laughing.
I spun around quickly and look at her.
"What's funny?" I ask. She points to my posters and laughs again, "Hey, they are a good band! Don't go hating on my man!" I laugh as I hug the poster.
"Okay fine, as long as you don't hating on my man!" She then climbed on her bed and started making out with the poster on her wall.
We ended up both hating on each others favorite bands for about fifteen minutes and laughing until our sides hurt.
After about an hour of unfolding my clothes and getting cozy, Faith says, "Hey, it's kind of getting stuffy in here, wanna go to the pizza place down the street?"
"Yes! I'm starving!" I groan as I rub my stomach. I grab my purse and phone, and we head out.
Once we arrived at the pizza shop, the aroma of tomato and basil fills my nose.
When I go to get a table, I feel someone staring at me from behind.
I turn my head making my blonde curls bounce off my shoulders, and make eye contact with no other than the blue eyed boy.
Hayes Grier.
