Oppa

Joshua POV:
As we are walking to school, Y/N keeps on mumbling about something. "I'm so nervous. I don't want to face Vernon. I can't do it." Y/N begins inaudibly. "What was that, Y/N?" "Oh, uh. Nothing. It was nothing. I uh think I might've um left something at my house. Yeah. That's what's wrong." "Okay. Well, I'll walk you back." "No, um. That's fine. I'm fine. I'm quite fine. I'll walk back by myself."

Y/N POV:
As we're walking to school I start to feel a lot of butterflies in my stomach. I know it's about facing Vernon. I'm just gonna see if I can go back "to get something". He just won't let me go back. "I know that something is up with you, Y/N. What's wrong?" Joshua says. "It's nothing." "Tell me now. I swear, if those bullies are back at it again I'm gonna..." he begins "No, Joshua... that's not it. I'm just super nervous to face Vernon to be honest..." "What's there to be nervous about? You're a beautiful girl inside and out, and if he can't see that, he's blind." "Thanks Josh, but I think I'm just gonna stay home for today..." "No you are not. It is the first day of college, and we get to see all our friends. You were very excited about making a good impression earlier, so come on. Let's go, before we're even more late." "Jeez, oppa. Okay. Fine. Let's go."

Joshua POV:
As I heard her words, my heart sank. It was the first time she had ever called me oppa, and I knew for a fact that my cheeks were starting to turn like a tomato. I don't think that she meant to say it either, as I could see she was burning up as well. "You okay?" I ask her. "Yeah... I'm fine." "You look really red, and nervous." "Well, I didn't mean to call you oppa, and I am really nervous." "Ah... that's what I thought it was. Don't worry... I don't mind you calling me oppa, and I'm here for you if that makes you feel better." "Wait, really? Calling you oppa just seems right to me. It's not like you're my older brother. Just like I look up to you, as if you're a king or something." "I wouldn't mind being your king" the words come out of my mouth before I can even think. "What was that?" "Oh. It was nothing." Jeez. That was a close one... what has been going on with me recently???

After about 10 minutes we arrive. Late by a few minutes, we head straight to home room. Luckily our home rooms have already been handed out online. We have 8 classes a day, and all last for 50 minutes. Home room is the 1st thing we do everyday, and it lasts for 30 minutes along with lunch, which is after 4th period.

Y/N's Schedule:
Home room: Mrs. Adler
1: Science
2: Mathematics

6: Coding
7: Art
8: Social Studies

"What are your classes?" I ask Y/N. "(Y/N schedule)" "Oh cool. It looks like we have 1st through 6th period together." "That kinda sucks.... "why?" "Well... I was kind of hoping that we'd have all of our classes together." "Yeah... me too" I started "But 6 is better than none..." "Yeah, I guess, and we have the same home room, so that's cool!" "Yeah. Very cool."

Y/N POV:
"Oh, look... there's a note written on my schedule."

The note read:
Mrs. Y/N, welcome to my home room. I hope you do not mind the people in this period. I have put you in this home room, because Joshua and Vernon have requested to be in your home room, and we were going to put Seventeen in a home room together, so you are here now. Enjoy my home room.

Well, quite frankly I didn't mind that much. I only minded that I'll be awkward in at least one of my classes, and every single girl in our school will be super jealous. I knew that for a fact.

After reading it over a few times, I had noticed it said Vernon requested to be in my home room.

WHY HAD HE WANTED TO BE IN MY HOME ROOM?
