I glanced over my supplies and saw that all I had left was to milk my cow. Three buckets of milk later I was leaning over my crafting table placing my ingredients in their corresponding slots. I smiled as the things that were a simple piece of sugar, some wheat, a few buckets of milk and a pair of eggs combined in to what was the most beautiful and delicious dish I had ever lain eyes on. I took a whiff of the air and it was thick with the smell of baking. I opened a chest I had set on the wall above my furnaces and placed the freshly baked cake inside. I smiled knowing that it would be safe here until I needed it again.

I sprinted to my room, wanting to waste no time. I threw on an iron chestplate and my old leather pants. I also threw on my leather boots, they weren't my best, but they would be better than nothing. I swung my diamond sword over my back and grabbed three emeralds. I shoved the emeralds in my back pocket and set out to the town.

It was almost noon when I reached the village. I hopped off the back of my trusty steed and headed to the butcher's shop. I walked in and told him that I was here for the special. He nodded his head and quickly sped to the back of the shop. He returned with two slabs of raw steak. I pulled out an emerald and handed it to him. He put the pieces of meat in a bag and gave them to me. I thanked him and walked out.

I wasted no time getting to the tailors. Once he saw me he knew I was here for my order. I had sent it ahead four days ago, so the clothing was done now. He held out a black suit with matching shoes. There were rumours that he was the best tailor around. After seeing my suit I agreed with them. I handed him his emerald, and in return he gave me my suit. I smiled at how well this was going. My plan was right on track.

I went to the flower shop. I picked out an assortment of red, blue, and pink tulips. The flower shop was having a free bouquet special today, so I took advantage of that and waved goodbye to the generous shop owner.

I made my way down to the winery and bought two small bottles for the price of one. I gave the man an emerald and made my way back to where I had tied my horse up.

I hopped on the back of the spotted steed and he started racing back to my cottage. I put him in his pasture with my other horses, and I walked back inside. I went to the bathroom and rinsed myself off from the ride home. After getting out I threw on my old leather shirt and pants. I grabbed a piece of charcoal and put it in the oven. I lit the oven and put the steaks on it to cook. I headed to the lake behind my house and started to set up. I lit my redstone lamps and dusted the table off.

I went back inside and pulled my steaks out of the furnace. I grabbed the cake and a single rose. I ran back outside laying the cake on the side of the table and the steaks in front of both of the seats. I placed the rose in a flower pot on the table and put our drinks out. I glanced at the sun as it started to slowly descended in the sky.

I ran inside and changed in to my new suit and shoes. I went out to my horses and chose Crystal, my beautiful pure-white horse. I saddled her and led her out of the pen. I was so excited, I glanced up as the sun sunk lower into the sky. I needed to hurry, my beautiful must be waiting for me. I rode on my horse across the desert until I finally reached the edge of the forest. I located the path and rode until I reached the clearing. I was right about her having to wait on me.

"I'm sorry darling, but don't worry, I'll make up for it with what I've prepared for you." She smiled and nodded her head in acceptance.

She hopped behind me on my beautiful horse, but it couldn't match her beauty. As I drove away from the clearing I watched her and studied her features. Her long hot pink hair hid half of her face covering her violet eyes. She wore a black beanie and blue suspenders over her plain white tee shirt and blue shorts. She also wore beige boots that came up to her knees. She was so beautiful.

Suddenly she started giggling. I rose my eyebrow in question and turned around after she pointed in to wherever we were heading. My eyes shot wide open in shock as we almost ran in to a tree. I heard her laughing from behind me as I swerved out of the way.

After a few more memorable minutes of her arms wrapped around my torso we arrived at my home. I hopped off Crystal and lifted her up and helped her off my horse. I held her hand and led her to the backyard, but not before leading Crystal back to the pasture. I pulled her chair out and then pushed it in after she sat down.

I felt my hands shake and realized how nervous I was. I tried to break the ice by taking a sip of my drink, but I accidentally dropped it and it shattered, and she was in the splash zone. I gasped and apologized awkwardly while she just giggled and wiped it off of her boots.

We dug in to our steaks, but they seemed to have been undercooked and gave us stomach issues. After a few awkward minutes of both of us having to excuse ourselves to go throw up we were both back in our seats and trying to think of a reason to say something.

I apologized once again as I gave her a sliced piece of the cake and took one for myself as well. As we dug in to the cake, it seemed to be the only thing that wasn't going wrong this evening. I had spoken too soon, I heard a hissing but by then it was too late to save anything. The creeper blew up the entire place I had set up for our date.

I hung my head in defeat as I gazed over my many failures. I was just about to suggest taking her home when I saw that Crystal had gotten out of then pen when the explosion happened and that she had run off. Everything that had happened just had to have made this the worst date in all of history.

I sighed but then felt a hand snake it's fingers with mine. I gave her a look of confusion but she put a finger over my mouth to keep from saying anything. She pulled my hand and brought me over to the lake. We sat down in the damp grass and she nestled up to me. I smiled as she rested her head on my shoulder.

I felt her move and I looked over she was taking off her shirt and pants. I was embarrassed so I looked away, but then I heard a splash. I decided to join her so I slipped my uncomfortable suit off and jumped in. We swam and splashed until we felt like raisins. I helped her out of the lake then ran inside and grabbed two towels. I came out and we wrapped up and sat on the grass again.

She leaned on my shoulder until she shifted and lay her head in my lap. She fell asleep, and I couldn't help but to think, that this had to be the best date ever.
