The Bullies

I arrived at my locker. Anna ran up and hugged me. "Oh my gosh! You're back!!!"

"Anna! Thank god you're all right! I was worried sick about you!"

"Where have you been? I went to your house yesterday and the day before, but you weren't there!" She exclaimed.

I came up with an excuse. "My mom had me stay at my grandma's. She was worried the queen b*tches would be after me."

She looked at me in disbelief. "Are you sure? It just seems a little sketchy."

I laughed. "Anna, you're crazy!"

"Don't you mean... Cray-cray?"

I gave her a weird look and tried to hold back a giggle. "Ummmm........"

"Shane Dawson." She sighed.

"Oh...." I said, trying to act like I had no idea what she was talking about.

"Speaking of which...." she said, "didn't you ask me about him the other day?"

I looked at her. "Uhh, I heard my cousin talking anout him, and I didn't want to seem completely clueless," I fibbed.

She looked me in the eye for a second. Breaking the ice, she said, "Hey, the tests are back for math. Let's check our grades. I think you got an A."

We walked down the hall. "Hell no," I said, "I got at least a D." As we walked to the teacher's desk, the classroom door slammed shut. I turned around to see Melanie and Asher. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home... For suspension?"

Melanie chuckled. "My daddy took care of that."

Hearing a noise behind me, I turned to the windows and found Jake and Brooke guarding the windows.

"W-What's going on?" I stuttered in fear.

"We're here for payback," Melanie said, "and this time, your gay ass hero isn't here to save you."

"Shane will be here any minute." I spat. "I know it!"

"So it iS Shane Dawson." She chuckled. "Wait until the press hears this!"

"No!" I yelled. "You can't!" I heard the bell ring and students clearing the halls.

"Oh, I can." She said as Asher walked up to me and put his hand on his shoulder. 

I pushed his hand off, but he put it back and held my hand behind my back like I was about to be handcuffed. "Are you happy knowing...."

"Knowing what?" She questioned. 

"That you're going to hell." I spat as I pushed Asher away and shoved Melanie away from the door. I jumped out the door and ran for the empty classroom across the hall. I was almost in when Asher tackled me to the ground. He dragged me back into the math room and laughed. 

"You'll never get away with this!" I groaned in pain.

Melanie just laughed. "How does it feel to know that your best friend betrayed you?"

I shook my head and looked at Anna. "Anna, tell me that's not true."

She laughed in my face. "They promised me popularity, and b*tch, I got it. Best decision ever! You don't deserve a friend anyway." She roared. 

I stared at her in disbelief. 

"Come on, boys! Get her!" Melanie said as they surrounded me. A cloth with a strong, undetectable scent was placed over my mouth. My vision blurred, and everything became black.
