~(Percy's POV)~
I rushed back to my cabin, there were tears in my eyes. Why would Annabeth do this to me, I thought she loved me. My heart was pumping fast as I raced into cabin 3 and slammed the door quickly,
I had just watched Annabeth, kiss Jon Black, a stupid Apollo kid that she had only known for a month. I quickly packed my stuff letting tears drip slowly down my cheeks. I slung the backpack over my shoulder and whipped my tears with my arm.
I started to walk silently to the stables where I found blackjack.
whats up boss?
Blackjack spoke in my mind as he nickered and happlily paced his stall excitedly,
"hey blackjack, I've been ok?" I said hand him a sugar cube and he ate it out of my hand
Were are we going boss?
He pawed the ground flicked his ears curiously
"I don't no, I haven't figured that out yet" I sighed sadly as I started to lead blackjack to Thalia's tree, there we'd fly of to who knows we're.
As we came up to Thalia's tree, I patted it sadly and I looked at my home, the place I'd spent my summers, The only place I ever felt safe. I new I couldn't go back. Why should I, Annabeth cheated on me, I was no longer talking to my father, posiden, and everyone at camp half-blood treated like I was Minotaur dung. I hopped on blackjack and flew away.
It wasn't long, I new I didn't want to land to close but I was also cold and I couldn't see, so I told blackjack to land. I sat on blackjack's back as he walked for a while until I got tired of his complaining and we stopped for a rest. I laid up against a tree and examined riptide, just when I thought I was about to fall asleep, I was brought back to earth by a crackling of twigs to my right.
"Hello?" I called, behind me, blackjack paced skidishly and flapped his wings nervously. And I uncapped riptide and stepped forward slowly, just then, a man stepped forward. he had a strange and powerful arua around him like a god, but so much stronger.he had a hooded cloak covering his face, so I was unable to see his face, but I got a strange glint of coffee brown eyes.
Other than the hooded cape, the man wore strange dark silver armour like a medieval night would wear, he also had a wicked sharp sword. The sword had a silver handle with the a ruby that was so perfectly cut, that for a second, I thought that it was fake. The blade was black as night like Nico's sword.
The man stepped foward and I held riptide up, ready for a fight and he just smiled at me, but it wasn't a, your so dead look, it was more friendly. He pulled down his hood to reveal a strangely handsome face. He had tan skin like he spent a lot of time in the sun, he had dark brown hair that grew down to his broad shoulders. He was muscular, but had warm, coffee brown eyes that were welcoming.
He smiled "Perseus Jackson, right?" He had a deep voice. I nodded
"Who are you?" I asked confused
His smile widened "I am chaos, creator of everything, and I would like you, Perseus Jackson, to join my army" he said simply.
"Why should I join your army?" I glared at him coldly and his smiled faded
"We'll simply because you have nothing left, plus, I have a deal with hades, you can bring back anyone to join the army" him said and suddenly, I was interested
"Will I ever have to come back to earth?" I asked curiously and chaos smiled again
"Oh, only if earth gets into trouble again" he laughed loudly
"Then it's a deal, I'll join your army" I laughed along with chaos. As soon as I said this, chaos wipped around and snapped his fingers and a portal appeared and he stepped through.
I turned to blackjack expectantly "you don't have to come buddy" I told him reassuringly but he shook his mane
Nah man, he might have donuts!
That, we followed chaos through the portal.
