There are very little things I know about the topic of love, but I will explain to you the few things I do know.

First, you will fall in love. And you will be hurt. You will trust somebody, let it be a girl or a boy, with your heart. And for a while they will be careful with it, never forgetting that they hold your life's essence in their hands. You will grow to trust this person, never questioning them because they have never given you a reason not to trust them. Then they will forget. They will forget that in their hand holds one of the most precious things known to mankind. They will begin to fold their palm in on itself, slowly adding pressure to the fragile, glasslike object in their hand. Before you know it, your heart will be broken with no warning of it ever being in danger. And the person, whoever they may be, will at first notice. They will try to reattach the millions of shattered pieces, but soon give up on the impossible task, leaving you there alone, trying to reassemble yourself. Who knows? Maybe you'll manage to do the impossible, and be your own handy man, and repair yourself. But be warned, if you do, you'll never be able to love the same as you did before.

Second, you will fall for someone you should have never fallen for. You will find attraction in them, and you will up everything for them, just wanting to be loved by them. And they will take total advantage of that, using you for anything they want, and once they have you hooked and you proved all your friends wrong; he was an amazing person and would never abuse your love, proves you wrong. The will leave you wondering why you ever loved them, and then you will go back to them.

Third, you will love someone unconditionally, and they will rob you of all happiness. They will try to change you, mold you into something that isn't you, thinking they will like you better that way. And when they fail to change you they will blame everything on you, trying intentionally to make you miserable then. You will no longer seek comfort in their eyes, you will desperately search for a flicker of approval. You won't leave because you don't want them to go through the pain that you are going through, so you will suck it up and fake being happy. Eventually they will leave you, but not before permanently leaving their mark on you.

Maybe I've just been unlucky in love so far, and you will go out and prove me wrong. And believe me, I hope you do. But you might not, and I want you to be prepared for that.
