protect you(fem!reader/sayaka)

Before you became a magical girl, Sayaka would protect you.

You'd go on witch hunts with her and watch,in complete awe, and would make sure she didn't fight too hard, so she wouldn't be completely exhausted afterwards.

She'd always tell you to "quit worrying so much!" and you'd smile at her, and tell her that you just "couldn't help yourself".

After you became a magical girl,Sayaka still protected you.

The only thing that changed was that now, you did everything together.

You hunted witches together, ate together, went shopping together, and so on.

Neither of you thought it would change.

Neither of you wanted it to changed.

Whenever you hunted witches, it always reminded you of Sayaka. The way her blue eyes lit up when she say you,the way she smiled at you and said it was ok even when it wasn't, and most importantly,

the way she protected you.

You just wish you could've protected her.
