Part 1

"Ms Hill I'm Mr Hamilton I'm so sorry that we are doing this so late. I have been out of town and my daughter Olivia isn't 18 till October or I would have had her this on her own." Mr Hamilton says to the guidiance counselor Ms Hill as it's 3 days into the start of the new school and he's late getting his daughter transferred in. 

"It's perfectly fine Mr Hamilton it's only 3 days in. Ok Miss Olivia I see you picked your classes already. So let's put them into the computer and get your schedule set up ok." Ms Hill says as she takes the paper Olivia filled out to pick her classes. 

After a few minutes of silence Ms Hill's printer starts to go off and says "Ok so here is your class schedule I will walk you to your first class. It's Art History with Mr Stan you will be seeing him a lot this semester cause he also teaches American History and he is also teaching Sex Education I had to give you that class since your last school didn't have that class." 

Olivia hugged her dad goodbye and fixed her knee high socks and skirt. Olivia had strawberry blonde hair with green eyes she grabbed her book bag and followed Ms Hill to her first class. Ms Hill knocked on the door as they heard Sebastian talking to his class as he got closer to the door and he said "Ms Hill what can I do for ya?" 

"Actually I have a late transfer student. This is Olivia Hamilton." Ms Hill says as Olivia stands behind her and chews on her lip. "You will be seeing a lot of her as she has 3 of your classes this semester." Ms Hill added. 

"Nice to meet you Olivia. You can go in and find you a seat." Mr Stan says to her

She steps passed Ms Hill and said "Thank you." 

She enters the classroom and finds an empty seat near the front and sits down. She pulls out her notebook and pen. Mr Stan shuts the door and says "Now where were we class?" 

One of the students says "You were talking about Van Gogh." 

"Right." He starts talking again about the different art pieces of Van Gogh as he heads towards a bookshelf and gets a text book down and walks to Olivia's desk and lays it down he continues talking as he finds the page they were on for her. He points to where they are and says "We are right here Olivia." she whispers "Thank you."

She starts to write down everything on the board and then makes little notes for herself. Sebastian catches her and making sure no one notices his smile he knew what she was doing. Then the bell rings for the class to be over as she is gathering everything up he walks over to her and says "Stay for just a minute." 

She whispers "Ok" 

He starts to go through a file folder then pulls out some paper and he said "Here is the class syllabus for this class." 

"Thank you." She said as she puts it in her bag. Then he says "What is your next class?" 

"Um English with Ms Johanasson." she whispers 

"I will show you where that is."  he says to her. 

They start to head toward the class he says "So why did you transfer to here?" 

"Oh um we moved." she said 

"Why did you move?" he says 

"My dad wanted to be closer to his job but when he did that. They gave him a new posistion which causes him to be gone a lot." she said 

"And your mom?" he said to her as they turn down the English hallway 

"Oh um she um she passed away earlier this year." Olivia said as tears filled her eyes.
