Chapter 7~ Mean or Bad Just Dance

♡ Kiara's POV ♡

After school in the auditorium

School dismissed and we were in the back of the auditorium warming up for the dance tryouts when Nicholas came up to me

"You seem pretty confident about getting that captain spot, how can you be sure that you will get it? I mean Ashleigh is a pretty good dancer "

"Yeah I bet she was " I said and bent down to touch my toes, I could tell he was watching me but I ignored it "I'm here now which means her time is up"

"How could you possibly dance better than her? " he asked

I got up

"You haven't actually seen me dance so shut it Lippy " I said and walked to the curtain

"Alright we'll make a deal, if you become dance captain the I should give you $500, but of Ashleigh gets the captain spot then you give me $500 dollars " he suggested

"Okay, deal, hope your ready to empty your bank account, Lippy " I said in a sing song and turned my back to him, and I sensed that he walked away so I went back to stretching

Nicholas's POV

I walked out and took a middle row seat in the audience side of the auditorium and waited for the tryouts to start, each girl that walked pass my seat either smiled, giggled or waved at me and I'd just wink back at them. About five minutes later the tryouts and I got bored so I started playing FIFA World Cup 2017 on my phone. Question: Reason why I got bored?
Answer: The people that I want to see are not ready to dance yet

Ms. Preston( Dance teacher) : And up next is Ashleigh Francis

I finally was able to look up from my phone and watch. Ashleigh was dancing to 'All about the Bass' by Meghan Trainor, she was shaking her butt all over the stage and I'm pretty sure that if the stage was small the she would've fell off in a matter of seconds. She should've chosen a difference song

Four minutes later Ashleigh is done and a I can safely say the I'll be needing my rain boots or a boat to avoid all the drool that the guys around me made on the floor. Alright I might be exaggerating a little. Everyone except for me applauded Ashleigh because we'll they are afraid of her, but me? Nah, I didn't see any dancing, just booty shaking

Ms. Preston: Up next we have Joshua Baker

Joshua came on stage and started dancing which caused girls to start whistling and licking their lips all around me

Ms. Preston : And now we will have Kiara Smith on stage

Kiara was dancing to 'Tiptoe' by Jason Derulo, trust me she is a dancer, she was chest popping, moonwalking, shaking her hips which caused guys to start wolf whistling at her. She was doing a bunch of other moves I can't tell which let me tell me they were just .Wow.

Finally she was done dancing and the applause she got could tear down the roof, even my own applause almost deafened me. All the girls and guys that auditioned lined up on the stage and I listened as Ms. Preston spoke through the microphone

Ms. Preston : Okay so the people in the dance group are Hazel, Eliza, Kara, Andre, Demi, Greg, Anita, Shelton, Joshua, Ashleigh and for group captain Kiara

Kiara had a triumphant smile on her face while when she stepped forward with everybody else while Ashleigh, she looked like she was going to kill a nation. Just as I suspected, she started shouting and throwing her hands everywhere. She's having her world famous temper tantrum
