2: Moving In

I woke up with a grin on my face.

Today my family and I were going to help the Reese family move in to there house, which is on the left of ours.

I got out of bed and headed over to the bathroom. I took my clothes off and threw them in the bin, then started taking my shower.

After I took a shower and shampooed my hair I went to my room and got dressed. Then I went downstairs to the kitchen.

"Hi mom."

"Hey honey how was your sleep?" mom asks.

"Good, hey lil bro." I say to Drew

"Hey big sis." He says back.

After breakfast we went to the Reese's front door to start organizing, cleaning,

and moving stuff in.

"Hey, are you guys ready to start?"Arianna asked opening the door.

"Yeah we're all actually pumped!" mom said.

We walked into the house and into the living room to be ordered jobs by Arianna. I sat on the couch with Liam in the middle of Amanda and I.

"Ok this is how we're gonna start: Drew and Amanda you're gonna help me and Mrs. Sky start cleaning."Arianna instructed.

"Okay." Drew and Amanda said in uniso."And Kelsey you and Liam are gonna take either car to go and bring the moving truck to this address." Arianna said facing Liam and I."Ok let's get started."

Everyone spread out to start their jobs so Liam and I went out to the front lawn to start ours.

"We can go with your car cause mine is out if gas...unless you wanna use my motorcycle?" He says.

"Nah we can go with my car." I offered.We walked over to the car, and as I was trying to go in I felt my arm get pulled back lightly.

"Can I drive?" Liam asks.

"Sure." I smile without question.

As we're driving it's peacefully silent until Liam breaks it. Good it had been awkward anyways.

"So you go to Greenwood High school huh?" He started.

"Yeah isn't that where you're transferring to?" I asked.

"Yup." He said.

Before I could say anything else my phone rang in my pocket. I read the Caller ID and smiled, it was my baby girl aka my best friend. I put her on speaker and talked.

"Sup Gabb." I greeted her.

"Hey Kels,where are you?"

"I'm in the car with Liam, my new neighbor I told you about remember?"

"Oh yeah! The cute one with dark hair!" Gabby squealed.

I heard Liam laugh next to me.

"Gabby shut up you're on speaker". I muttered to her.

"I'm sorry I didn't know." Gabby said with a quiet laugh."Hey Liam I'm Gabby, and Kelsey told me a few things about you." She then added, ruining her apology.

I held the phone near Liam's mouth so he could talk to Gabby.

"Sup Gabb... so what type of things did Kelsey say to you?" Liam asked with a smirk on his face.

"Well she told me you look like a-" Gabby started but I cut her off.

"Bye baby Gabb! I'll see tomorrow." I yelled at her.

"Bye love you" Gabby said in a baby voice.

"Love you too" I also spoke in a baby voice. It's a silly thing we do; don't judge.

"Bye Gabby!" Liam added very quickly as I hung up.

"That was your best friend huh?" Liam asked.

"Yup, she's crazy" I said smiling.

"We're here!" I said in a cheery voice.

"I don't know why you're so happy because we're just going right back in like five minutes" Liam stated.

"Oh...oh...ohhhhhh why the heck did I agree to this?" I asked mostly to myself but still aloud.

"Maybe because you didn't have a choice." Liam shrugged.

"Ok let's just go find them and leave."

We started walking up to an office near a lot of moving trucks.

"Hello my name is Mr.Bena. How may I help you?" A guy in a desk chair asked as we got in the room.

"We're here for truck #23" Liam said.

"Ok so you're here to bring the truck back with you right?" Mr.Bena clarified.

"Yeah." I say.

"Ok let's go." Mr.Bena stood up.

We walked to where all the moving trucks are located and he told us which one is ours. Then we headed out to our car with truck #23 following and headed back home.

When Liam and I walked inside the Reese's new house we were surprised to see that it was spotless. The whole house was clean and smelled like a real home.

"Hey guys, are they ready to transfer the stuff?" Liam's mom asked us.

"Yeah we're ready!" Liam clapped.

Everyone except Drew and Amanda started unpacking the stuff from the truck and placing and organizing them in the house.

The last room we had to fix was Liam's which was right across my room; our moms hadn't noticed. Liam and I were carrying the pieces for the bed and putting it together.

"Ok we're finally done." Arianna announced to us all.

It was about 9:00 at night and we had school tomorrow so we had to head home to sleep.

After I changed into my pajamas I noticed something outside my window.

I walked over to my window and saw something I didn't expect.

"What are you doing?" I asked Liam who was standing outside on my porch.

"Well... I was gonna say goodnight" Liam answered.

"Goodnight Liam."

"Goodnight Kelsey."

He walked into my room kissed my forehead and left.
