Jungkook Focus

"Hey Kookie are you free later this week? We're going to the club near mid-town to celebrate the end of mid-terms." His friend, Jimin, wondered.

Jungkook looked up from his phone, leaving his and his girlfriends conversation where it was, "Sorry I think Lisa and I were gonna go out on a date." (i didn't know who to use as a gf and there are a lot of liskook shippers so yeah)

The boys around him 'ooed'; "Aww look at our little Jungkook." They teased, most of them only a year or two older than him.

Jungkook sighed and went back to looking at his phone;

lisa <3: bby don't forget our anniversary is friday, i already got you a gift <3

'Shit' Jungkook thought. He was so caught up trying to pass his classes the boy completely forgot about buying a gift.

jungkook: yea, dw i wouldn't forget it for the death of me

lisa <3: you're so reliable, i gtg. though i love you! ttyl

The raven stood up and threw his bag around his back. "Where you going?" His other friend, Namjoon, asked.

"It's mine and Lisa's 4 month anniversary and I forgot to get her a gift." Jungkook confessed.

"You've fucked up, what're you gonna do?" Jimin asked.

"I'm going to the mall and buying her a gift."

"You're skipping class?" Jimin asked.

"If the teacher asks can you say I'm sick in the bathroom or something?" Jungkook asked, the boy already jogging away slowly.

The boy gave him a thumbs up as Jungkook ran to the nearest, and only, mall in town. The boy stopped for a moment to catch his breath before searching the stores for the perfect (or most convenient) gift.

He passed clothes stores, shoe stores and everything in between. Still, nothing right for Lisa...

The boy entered the one of the last stores in the small mall. The boys eyes glanced over the jewelry: gold, diamond and ruby, sparkled under the artificial lighting in the store.

jungkook pulled out his wallet and payed for the delicate gold and diamond earrings he had gotten for his girlfriend.

he grabbed the bag and thanked the owner, his attention focused on putting away his credit card until a familiar voice stirred his attention,

"hahaha, obviously i love you. you're the only one i love and you will forever be the only one."

the boy peeked around the corner of the store, his blonde haired girlfriend coming into view, someone else paired with her.

The boy's jaw dropped at the sight of the two, his girlfriend backed up against a wall, a huge smile spread upon her lips.

The man, much older than Jungkook, held her hand and smiled down at he girl, a smirk planted on his tanned skin as he leaned down and brought her into a kiss.

"Lisa..." Jungkook whispered, his voice soft and barely audible, tears rolling down his face.

"Wait did you hear that?" The blonde girl wondered,  pulling away from the kiss and glancing around, her eyes almost meeting Jungkook's. The teen inhaled quickly and hid behind the wall that separated the cheating couple and the store he was in.

"Don't worry, it was nothing." He heard the man say, his voice calm and contained.

Jungkook waited a couple of minutes before the obnoxious sound of his girlfriend making out with another guy became too much for his mind to handle and decided to make a run for it. The boy quickly turned the corner and ran as fast as he could, never turning to look back.

The brunette got to the nearest bus stop, bought himself a ticket and got on the first bus away from this place. A couple stops passed by until the boy decided to get off the bus and catch the correct one on route to his house.

The boy declared it to be too late for him to go to class and so he went home straight away, craving sleep, the only thing that could avert his thoughts from the previous action he has seen.

He got off the second bus of the night and walked home. Luckily this time he hadn't forgotten his keys and so was able to get inside with no problems.

"Kookie, why are you so early?" His brother asked as soon as he walked through the door, and up the few steps to his house.

"Um, school was let out early." He stuttered, forgetting he skipped half his classes and went straight home.

"Oh, alright, well mom won't be home for dinner so I'll make you something." His brother told him, sanding up and heading to the kitchen.

"Uh, actually hyung, I'm not very hungry." Jungkook said, keeping his head down.

"Oh." he was surprised, Jungkook loved his brothers cooking, "Are you sure?"

Jungkook nodded, "Yeah, I think i'm just gonna study some more. My final exam is tomorrow."

His brother sighed but let the younger to up to his room.

Jungkook climbed the steps up to his room. He lazily turned the handle and flopped down on his bed. He stared up at his ceiling, never ending tears rolling down his cheeks, like that he stayed for the rest of the night.
