Check yes, Juliet. The rain is falling down on the sidewalk, I won't go until you come outside. - We The Kings.

-Juliet-

The Carters is the type of family that stays to themselves.

But that's not what brought my attention.

Six months ago

I was sitting there on my back porch swing, reading my favorite novel, and drinking a cup of coffee a few weeks before school started again. It was about to be my last year of high school and I had the same teachers as last year because last year I was in all advanced classes with the seniors.

I watched as their blue truck pulled into the drive next door. The lot now consists of just the truck but also a gold and black motorcycle, and a white van... Racist much?

I thought that until I saw how happy their family of five was. There was of course the mother and father, as well as two boys and a girl. The parents seemed to be in their late 30s. The girl was about 18 at the most. Now on to the boys. One I thought was about my age (17) the other looked about three.

In my head I was thinking: O-M-I-G-O-D this family is going to drive me up the walls. Not only because there was five of them but because within to two minutes of standing outside, they were already loud enough for my mother to come out and complain.

"Juliet what is that god awful sound. Please be-" After a second she saw it wasn't me, the strange family started arguing.

Talking a little quieter, she looked at me and said, "Goodness dear, did you see how cute that boy was? Not the younger one, the one that looked 'bout your age."

There is a few things that you should know about me.

•I blush really easy

•I really love cheeze it, like really love it.

•I have never had a boyfriend, much less kissed a boy.

•My books and Beastie Boys are my life.

•Sarcasm is my only weapon

•I seem like a nerd but really my bad ass personality is being shoved in a corner.

Okay I think that that is all you need to know. Now I will continue.

Of course what mom said made me blush, so I just lifted my shoulders up and down as if saying 'I guess'. But boy was I lying. He was way past cute or hot. Was is it hot in here or is the world just about to spontaneously combust into ashes? It was like when God was creating my hot neighbor he was like 'hmmm let's add some sexy'. Opps, I dumped the whole thing.

Oh well.

The problem is that just from looking at him it seemed as though he knew just how hot he is. That's why I instantly knew he was a bad boy. Not only did that proved it, but the leather jacket and black boots as well.

The rest of the weekend consisted of me watching the strange family out of my window. Occasionally one of them would catch me staring and would smile or wink at me.

I know that I am not perfect or even beautiful. Hell, I barely consider myself pretty. However many people in town that I didn't even know would call me pretty; Normally the girls. Guys would whistle and comment on how and I quote "damn sexy".

I have brown hair that is really easy to deal with, leaving me with pretty hairstyles when I feel like it. Following my hair is my dark blue eyes and tan skin.

-Monday morning-

I was all ready for school, but I looked at myself one last time in the mirror. My outfit was consisted of black leggings, a navy blue blazer, a long white shirt, and a pair of 2 inch black ankle boots. I grabbed my black purse off the chair and walked to the kitchen where mom was. She gave me a quick 'bye' and handed me a thermos full of a God made substance called coffee.
